Boom!
What looked like a simple punch had forcibly left a fist-shaped imprint protruding from Nappa's back.
Even Nappa, whose body was covered in muscles, felt intense pain in that instant.
The pain had even surpassed human limits, blanking out his mind until it seemed like the only word he remembered was "pain"!
Son Gohan coldly withdrew his fist, then leaped up and drove a kick into that bald head.
Boom!
Nappa's body shot out like a rocket, smashing diagonally through a building before plunging heavily into the ground.
The immense power within him was transmitted into the earth along with his body.
The entire city began to shake even more violently, making those fleeing midway even more terrified as they desperately ran farther away.
In the distance.
Krillin's eyes widened as he stared in disbelief, even subconsciously rubbing his eyes.
When he saw Gohan's speed earlier, he had known the kid's training had reached an incredible level.
But in his mind, Gohan should only have been capable of defeating Nappa.
He had never expected him to crush that Saiyan so easily.
After all, he had just fought that Saiyan himself and knew how absurdly powerful the man was. He had trained hard for a whole year, yet he could not even withstand a single move!
And now, when Gohan fought him, the situation seemed to be repeating what had happened to him.
Only, the overwhelmingly powerful side had changed from that Saiyan to Gohan.
Going by that logic, did the gap between him and that Saiyan equal the gap between that Saiyan and Gohan?
Then the difference between him and Gohan... wasn't it already beyond measure?
Realizing that even Goku's son had far surpassed him, Krillin's expression turned strange for a moment.
He looked at his severed arm, then at Gohan in the distance, but hope rose in his eyes.
"It looks like this kid has extraordinary talent just like Goku. No, maybe he's even stronger than Goku was back then!"
Far from the city.
Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu were fighting the Saibamen.
Their battle had already reached a stalemate. Explosions filled the city. Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu were doing somewhat better; even while facing four Saibamen, they still had strength to spare.
But Yamcha's side looked rather miserable.
He was facing two Saibamen at once, and he was already struggling to keep up.
That was only because Raditz had yet to join the battle.
Raditz was not even watching the fight here. Sometimes he looked up at the sky, and other times toward Nappa, clearly keeping an eye on both battles.
When he saw Gohan smash Nappa away, he was not overly surprised.
After all, he had been beaten up by Gohan and Piccolo for nearly half a year. He knew just how terrifyingly strong the two were. Perhaps only Prince Vegeta could defeat them.
It was precisely because he knew this that he had not acted directly, instead waiting for the two fighters above to determine a victor.
Boom!
The distant ground split apart once more as Nappa's body rapidly rose into the sky.
He glared viciously at Son Gohan in the distance and shouted sharply, "Bastard! You dare treat me like this? I will never forgive you!"
As the big bald man spoke, veins bulged across his body, and it looked as though the tendons on his forehead were about to burst out.
His eyes were already bloodshot as well.
The warrior who claimed to come from a distinguished lineage had clearly snapped completely. He went berserk without restraint, and his powerful aura shook the entire city without end.
Just then.
White light streaked through the air, traveling in an instant like lightning.
The light bridged an enormous distance.
Then it appeared directly before Nappa. It was Son Gohan, who should have been extremely far away, staring coldly at Nappa before him.
"Bastard, how dare you look down on me?"
Seeing that Son Gohan did not attack immediately only made Nappa's rage burn even fiercer.
His thick arm was instantly wrapped in blinding electric light.
Then he swung it at Son Gohan's head. The latter did not move at all; only the aura around his body began to flow.
Yet even though his opponent made no movement, Nappa's punch came to an abrupt stop in midair. Clearly, it could not break through the aura Son Gohan had released.
Whoosh!
Son Gohan's gaze narrowed slightly, and the airflow around him instantly surged.
The terrifying gale instantly swept Nappa's body up.
His massive frame was flung straight into the sky. Nappa felt nothing but humiliation. He frantically raised his power, hoping to break free of that overwhelming force and then teach that brat a brutal lesson.
His aura, erupting to its limit, continuously collided with the surrounding force.
By the time he finally reached the highest point in the sky, the surrounding airflow had mostly dissipated.
Nappa's body regained its freedom. He twisted around and looked down, only to find that Son Gohan had already vanished.
A chill ran through his heart, and he instinctively looked farther up into the sky.
He saw an elbow smash viciously into his bald head.
The immense force dented his scalp, nearly making his eyes bulge out, while blood seeped from his facial features.
Nappa was completely unable to withstand an attack of that magnitude.
At that moment, he lost consciousness completely, his body dropping straight toward the ground.
By sheer coincidence, Nappa's body landed right beside Raditz, giving Raditz quite a scare.
Son Gohan landed beside Raditz shortly afterward.
He did not look at Nappa again. Instead, he asked Raditz, "Have you made up your mind, Uncle?"
Looking at Nappa's dented head, Raditz immediately nodded furiously. "Gohan, don't joke around. I'm your real uncle, of course I'm on your side! That bald guy always bullies me. He deserved to be taught a lesson by my genius nephew today!"
Son Gohan had long known what kind of person this uncle was, so he did not scare him any further.
He merely turned his gaze toward the trio fighting the Saibamen.
He was not too worried about Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, but he could not help worrying about Yamcha. If he looked away for even a moment, Yamcha might create a world-famous painting.
In the distance.
After years of working together, Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu coordinated with perfect ease.
They had already taken down two Saibamen in succession.
After the pressure eased slightly, Tien Shinhan had Chiaotzu go help Yamcha. His psychic powers were not very useful against strong opponents, but they were remarkably effective against the Saibamen.
Sure enough, after Chiaotzu used his psychic powers on a Saibaman, Yamcha quickly gained the upper hand.
He first blasted the Saibaman Chiaotzu had immobilized with an energy wave.
Then he confidently turned his head and said, "Hmph, these guys aren't all that strong. They only had the advantage because of their numbers. I can handle this one next. Go check on Krillin!"
"Okay."
Chiaotzu was clearly still worried about Krillin over there.
Although they had all seen Krillin get rescued, they also knew his arm had been broken. That was no minor injury!
Just as Chiaotzu left, the Saibaman Yamcha had blasted away suddenly opened its eyes.
"Chirp chirp chirp!"
