Big Baldy Nappa finally woke from unconsciousness.
Though Frieza had thoroughly brutalized him, the bastard had wanted them to suffer hell before they died, so it had not quite been enough to actually kill him.

After sighing inwardly, Nappa lifted his head and looked around, only to see Vegeta standing off to the side with his arms folded, seemingly thinking about something.
He looked at the surrounding scene again.
Once he was sure Frieza and his force were not there, realization instantly showed in his eyes, and he shouted outright, "Vegeta, did you finally become a Super Saiyan?"
His shout immediately drew everyone's gaze over.
Vegeta, who had originally been deep in thought, instantly darkened in expression. He glared furiously at Nappa. "You idiot, shut up!"
Nappa was left utterly baffled by the roar. He had no idea what had happened, but if Prince Vegeta told him to shut up, then there had to be a reason for it.
He immediately stopped talking.
Then he guiltily shifted his gaze into the distance.

That woman looked extremely familiar, and more importantly, she had a tail. She was clearly a female Saiyan.
