Son Gohan sat down cross-legged and closed his eyes.
Old Kai sat on the ground opposite him, gesturing in front of him with his fingers as he began to chant.
It was a stream of incomprehensible gibberish; no one knew what he was saying.
The incantation was obscure and difficult to understand. As Old Kai chanted, he flipped through the porn magazine in his hands, turning the pages with inexplicably practiced ease.
He wet his finger with saliva and flipped another page with a rustle, his eyes glued to the pages as he occasionally let out a sleazy "Heh heh heh."
Then he began circling around Son Gohan.
As he walked, he danced and waved his arms, his loose Kai robes swaying with his movements.
The scene was anything but sacred. It looked more like a crazed old man performing some bizarre ritual.
Son Gohan ignored it all.
And so, one day after another passed.
At first, Shin and Kibito stood nearby and watched, but eventually they simply could not make sense of what the old man was doing. They sat beneath a distant tree to wait instead.
Old Kai continued circling Son Gohan every day, chanting, flipping through his book, chuckling lewdly, occasionally stopping for a sip of water before continuing.
Half a month passed.
At last, Old Kai stopped. He closed the magazine in his hands, tucked it under his arm, and patted Son Gohan on the head.
"Done."
Son Gohan opened his eyes.
He stood and rolled his shoulders. His body did not seem to have changed at all—no, that was wrong!
A surge of heat welled up from deep within his dantian.
As though it had been suppressed for far too long and had finally found an outlet, it erupted with a bang.
Energy surged wildly through his meridians. Every inch of muscle, bone, and cell trembled as something that had long slumbered within him awakened.
He could not suppress it.
"Haaah—!!"
Son Gohan threw back his head and roared as pure white aura exploded from within him and shot into the heavens.
BOOM—!!!
A white pillar of light pierced heaven and earth, blasting into the sky. The clouds over the Sacred World of the Kais were torn apart, while shockwaves surged in every direction.
A fierce gale erupted. Grass was ripped up by the roots, distant trees bent and snapped with crackling sounds, and rubble was swept into the sky, tumbling madly through the air.
Shin and Kibito were blown stumbling in all directions by the force. They raised their arms before their faces, unable to keep their footing.
"Th-This power—what is it?!"
Son Gohan stood where he was, pure white aura churning and roaring around him. His hair remained much like it had been in Super Saiyan 2, still standing upright, but it was still black.
Only one lock of hair at his forehead now stood up, swaying slightly amid the surging air.
But that power—
The entire Sacred World of the Kais was shaking.
The ground beneath their feet trembled. Distant mountains rumbled. The clouds in the sky re-formed after being torn apart, the air became heavy, and an overwhelming pressure swept through the world.
Son Gohan lowered his head and looked at his hands.
He carefully felt the power within him.
This power... was completely different from any form he had used before. The frenzy of Super Saiyan and the battle lust of Super Saiyan 2 had been replaced by tranquility.
The power was violent, yet his mind was calm—like the eye of a storm. No matter how the world overturned outside, within, all was still.
He silently made an estimate.
It was far stronger than even full-power Super Saiyan 3.
This power had already reached the realm of Super Saiyan God Red. If they fought to the death, then with his recovery ability, he would definitely be the one left standing.
Terrifying beyond belief!!!
The corners of Son Gohan's mouth lifted slightly. He slowly restrained his aura, the pure white flames gradually withdrawing into his body as the sky returned to calm.
The gale ceased, rubble fell back to the ground, and the lingering warmth of energy remained in the air.
He turned and walked toward Old Kai.
"Thank you, Lord Old Kai."
Without even raising his head, Old Kai had already reopened his magazine.
"Alright, alright, enough with the polite talk. Hurry up."
Son Gohan understood. He took out all the remaining porn magazines from his internal storage space—a thick stack—and held them out to him.
As he handed them over, he gave a slight nod, a knowing smile on his lips that only men could understand. He did not look like he was giving away books, but rather passing down some inherited treasure, solemn and profound.
Old Kai accepted them with both hands, his eyes shining brightly. He opened one, his Adam's apple bobbing, then looked up and returned the same reassuring look: You can count on me.
Everything went without saying...
Son Gohan turned around.
"Farewell."
Instant Transmission activated.
Whoosh—
His figure vanished from the Sacred World of the Kais.
Shin climbed up from the ground, staring wide-eyed at the spot where Son Gohan had disappeared, his face filled with shock.
"Kibito... did you see that?"
Kibito did not look much better. Cold sweat still beaded on his forehead.
"I saw it..."
"What he used... was that Instant Transmission of yours?"
"Yeah... the exact same Instant Transmission."
The two exchanged a glance and swallowed at the same time.
At the edge of the universe.
Son Gohan appeared amid a desolate asteroid belt.
The surrounding planets were all uninhabited, deathly silent, with no signs of life.
Rubble and small asteroids floated through the void, silent as an abandoned wasteland.
Son Gohan hovered in the vacuum and closed his eyes.
His consciousness sank deep into his dantian.
The rainbow Dimensional Seed floated quietly within his internal space. Its light was fuller than before, its surface flowing with a peculiar sheen.
After the first charge had fully accumulated, faint patterns had appeared within the crystal, like some ancient current of energy.
He activated the Dimensional Seed.
Buzz—
The crystal trembled.
Then, rainbow light burst from within his body, tearing open a passage through the void before him.
It was a rainbow tunnel woven from countless colors. The edges of its entrance constantly shifted in hue, like vividly alive auroras.
There was no telling where this spacetime passage led.
Son Gohan did not hesitate and plunged straight in.
The inside of the passage was even more dazzling than it appeared from the outside.
Countless streaks of light swept past him. Then he saw it—the walls of the passage were covered in countless fragments, like shattered mirrors.
Each mirror displayed scenes from different parallel spacetime.
In one parallel world, he saw Super Saiyan 2 Gohan brutally beating Cell Junior, every punch landing solidly as golden aura mixed with blood.
The scene flashed, changing into another world—Son Goku, wrapped in the red glow of the King Kai Fist, was fighting Vegeta to the death. Both of them were already utterly exhausted.
Further ahead.
Gogeta stood with his arms folded, a relaxed smile at the corner of his lips, while Janemba opposite him exploded into pieces.
Fragments of spacetime played along both sides of the passage like a revolving lantern.
Different times, different spaces, different universes—countless possibilities converged within this passage.
The passage came to an end.
A gentle force pushed Son Gohan out, and his feet landed on solid ground.
He steadied himself and looked around.
This was definitely Earth. The sky was a clear blue, dry ground lay beneath his feet, and mountain ranges could be seen in the distance.
Son Gohan closed his eyes and spread out his ki senses.
He found them.
Son Goku's ki. Krillin's ki, and the others' as well.
He opened his eyes. White aura erupted around him as he shot into the sky and raced toward those familiar presences.
