Background / History

Vegeta was present when Mecha Frieza and King Cold arrived on Earth. He kept his distance from the Earthlings, openly resented Goku for becoming a Super Saiyan, and watched in displeasure as Future Trunks displayed the same transformation and eliminated Frieza. 2

With nowhere else to stay, Vegeta was taken in at Capsule Corporation by Bulma. He used its training facilities, particularly the Gravity Chamber, to pursue greater strength. 10
