The light faded.
Gogeta appeared before Janemba in an instant, his expression calm.
He spoke in his distinctive, resonant dual voice.
"I am neither Son Goku nor Vegeta."
"I am the one who will defeat you."
Seeing that the star had arrived, Son Gohan wisely stepped aside.
He quietly watched the king of show-offs do his thing.
A flicker of uncertainty crossed Janemba's eyes.
His body broke apart, and motes of light streamed behind Gogeta.
He reassembled and slammed a heavy punch into Gogeta's face.
Boom!
Gogeta did not budge, as though the blow had carried no force at all.
Janemba froze for an instant, and Gogeta's knee was already buried in his abdomen.
Terrifying force tore through him, doubling his body over.
His mouth opened, and blood spilled from its corner.
Gogeta gave him no chance to break apart.
He grabbed Janemba's horn with his right hand, yanked him down, and drove his knee up again, straight into his face.
Janemba hurtled backward and slammed into the ground, leaving a pit so deep its bottom could not be seen.
Gogeta hovered beside the pit, looking down.
Janemba sprang from the bottom, spread his wings, and swept his long tail sideways.
A piercing whistle tore through the air.
Gogeta ducked and slid beneath the tail.
His body skimmed along the ground.
As he slid, he raised his leg, striking Janemba precisely beneath the chin with his heel.
Thud!
Janemba's head snapped back, and his body lifted off the ground.
Gogeta finished his slide, pushed off with his toes, and sprang up, twisting halfway around in midair.
His left leg lashed out in a vicious roundhouse kick.
It struck Janemba's chest with such force that the air cracked.
Janemba flew sideways and rolled more than a dozen times across the ground.
