Qianyu took Abin and sank underground. Damp soil and tangled tree roots surrounded them, the light dim.
"Abin, how many explosive tags did you bring?"
Abin reached into his chest area, pulled out a stack of paper tags, and counted them. "Just a few dozen."
"That'll be enough." Qianyu took the explosive tags. The two moved slowly through the earth toward the Mizukage Building.
As they neared the surface, Qianyu formed hand seals.
"Wood Clone Technique."
A wood clone identical to him split off from his body. Qianyu handed all the explosive tags to the clone while he remained hidden, using his Byakugan to observe the situation above through the soil.
Holding the explosive tags, the wood clone emerged from the ground at the entrance of a secluded alley. He hurried toward the main entrance of the Mizukage Building.
Two Kirigakure guards immediately stopped him.
"Stop! Who are you?"
"I have an urgent matter to report to Lord Mizukage!" the wood clone said anxiously.
"State your identity and submit to inspection."
A guard reached out to search him. The wood clone took half a step back and suddenly shouted, "Long live Lord Kirishima Tetsuya!"
Before his words had faded, he ignited every explosive tag in his hand.
BOOM—!!!
The massive explosion shook half of Kirigakure. The front entrance of the Mizukage Building was swallowed by a fireball, bricks and stones flying as thick smoke billowed upward. One side of the building collapsed in the blast.

Kirishima Tetsuya had been discussing matters with several subordinates when the blast rattled the cups on the table. He sprang to his feet.
"What happened?"
One subordinate rushed in. "Sir! An explosion occurred at the Mizukage Building! Someone... someone shouted your name, then rushed in and blew himself up!"
