She had come. A smile unconsciously curved Aya's lips.
When she turned around, she saw a tall woman behind her, at least five foot seven, dressed in mage equipment.
"We are the mithril-ranked adventurer party Moon's Shadow. If you don't mind, perhaps we could talk." The mage spoke to Aya, her companions following behind her.
Perfect. Aya first put on a surprised expression, then readily agreed.
When Aya had scouted the area with [Wide-Area View] earlier, she had noticed this mithril-ranked party. After observing the reactions of the five members for a while, she could roughly tell that this female mage was the party's leader.
Aya was highly sensitive to the identity of "leader," so she instinctively gave her a few extra looks and noticed something worth paying attention to.
The female mage's staff and robe were both low-grade items, but the bell around her wrist—though still low-grade in Aya's eyes—was a tier above the rest of her equipment.
After activating [Advanced Item Appraisal], Aya found that its attributes were indeed better than her other equipment's, and it possessed an interesting skill: [Lie Appraisal].
Of course, this skill was of a very low tier, so it could not even break through Aya's passive detection-blocking. Even if Aya lied, it would not be able to detect it.
Still, with that skill, the female mage could determine—or at least believe she could determine—whether someone was lying.
Then surely it was worth appraising someone who claimed to "be able to use third-tier magic" and had a companion of comparable strength, wasn't it?
To ensure they did not miss it the first time, Aya had deliberately said it twice, even causing a stir throughout the hall. The other party should have noticed, right?
The quest Aya chose was also mithril-ranked, on par with their
