"Did that little girl think I was a loli...?" Kaguya silently wondered on the other side. "Forget it, I won't stoop to your level..."

She was quite the grudge-holder.

Knock, knock, knock. Aisha's door was knocked on, and the Field Family's butler stood outside.

"What is it?"

"Young Lady, dinner is ready," the butler said respectfully.

Aisha glanced at Kaguya and Angelina. "Are we eating now?"

Angelina had long since grown hungry. She nodded in agreement, and Kaguya nodded as well.

The butler lit the magic crystal lamps, and the dim dining room immediately brightened. Dinner had already been prepared, and the table was covered with pure silver plates.

Though they were a noble family, ever since Aisha had become the head of the Field Family, she had always advocated thrift. Their daily meals were simple, without extravagance or waste.

Since they had guests today, several extra dishes had been prepared, and finer tableware had been brought out.

It was not yet nightfall, but the sky had already gone completely dark, as a layer of black rain clouds had gathered overhead.

"Looks like there's going to be a heavy rain," Aisha said, glancing out the window. No raindrops had fallen yet, but the air was already thick with moisture.

The Field Family's dining room faced their garden. The table was set before a floor-to-ceiling window, allowing them to admire the garden scenery while they ate.
