"What—what's going on? What are you talking about? Who did you say I am? Starscream? Isn't that the nickname of some fallen woman?"

Xiao Tian—no, he should be called Starscream now. Starscream stared in shock at the little guy named Rumble before him. Well, a little Transformer. He was a talking intelligent robot, apparently the kind that could run and jump. And at this moment, Starscream himself seemed to have become one of these so-called Transformers.

"What's a fallen woman? Is she an Autobot warrior? In the several major battles our Decepticons have fought on Cybertron this time, we've achieved decisive victories. Those Autobots have all retreated into their last fortress, and they won't be able to hold out much longer! Big Brother Starscream, it's a shame your injuries haven't fully healed yet. Otherwise, you could've gone with Big Brother Megatron to kill Optimus Prime!"

Megatron? Optimus Prime? Why did those two names sound so familiar?

When the little Transformer in front of him mentioned those two names, Starscream's central processor suddenly went haywire. Golden electrical sparks shot from his massive metal head one after another.

"Bzzzt, ssssss!"

"Oh no, Big Brother Starscream, what's wrong? Did the place where Ironhide hit you that day short-circuit again? Don't worry, I'll go get the military medic right away!"

Starscream? Decepticons? Autobots? So Brother's current identity was a Transformer named Starscream, belonging to the Decepticon faction.

Based on the information he had gathered so far, this was a planet called Cybertron, where all the inhabitants were intelligent robots—commonly known as Transformers. To fight over ownership of the planet, these Transformers had split into two factions: the Decepticons and the Autobots. From the current situation, the Decepticons appeared to hold an absolute advantage, while the Autobots could be wiped out at any moment.

All things considered, Mr. Starscream seemed to have been reborn in the right place. Though he vaguely remembered having another identity called a human from Earth, perhaps too much time had passed for him to retain any impression of it.

"Lord Starscream, we came too late! All the Decepticon military medics have been deployed to the front lines, so we could only find this Autobot nurse to give you some basic treatment. We hope you'll forgive us!"

That fellow named Rumble seemed highly efficient. In less than three minutes after running off, he returned with several Decepticon Transformers, escorting a female Autobot robot beside them.

What was going on? Transformers were divided into male and female too?

Starscream stared blankly at the scene before him, unable to react for a while. He had thought this was a purely robotic world, but this so-called Autobot prisoner was clearly different from the male Decepticon warriors around her. Although their mechanical parts looked more or less alike, this Autobot nurse was obviously much slimmer in both figure and build than the others. There were even two oval protruding steel plates on her chest, creating a striking visual impression.

Could these so-called Transformers actually have those kinds of biological needs?

"You damned Autobot, what are you standing around for? Hurry up and examine Lord Starscream! If you can't fix him, watch out—we'll blow your head apart and feed your body to the mechanical hounds!"

So spoke a Decepticon warrior who looked somewhat like he had transformed from a tractor. Though the guy looked unremarkable, he held an extremely imposing-looking laser gun in his hand. The female Autobot was clearly terrified at the sight of it. Even though she was utterly unwilling, she still tremblingly reached out and placed her hands on Starscream's shoulders.

"Please lie down. I need to perform a full-body scan."

This female Autobot warrior seemed to be logistics personnel and possessed no real combat ability. Yet for some reason, when her hands touched Starscream's body, he instinctively felt an unprecedented sense of comfort.

It was a feeling even Starscream himself could not describe. It did not manifest physically, but was a warmth that came from deep within his Spark. What was going on?

Before Starscream could think any further, the female Autobot nurse opposite him had already begun her work. Her eyes suddenly turned green, projecting green light onto Starscream's wound. A string of golden symbols appeared as well. At first glance, they looked somewhat like binary code, but the golden characters changed far too quickly. Other than the person involved, perhaps no one could decipher them.

"You stinking Autobot, I'm warning you—don't try anything! How is Lord Starscream doing?"

Rumble seemed especially concerned about Starscream's injuries, acting as though they were blood brothers.

"This lord once suffered severe trauma. Although the surface has been repaired with ultra-strong alloy, fifteen conical screws are still missing from inside his body. If they aren't replaced, this wound will keep flaring up in the future."

As the saying went, experts saw the craft while laymen watched the spectacle. Starscream had been injured in battle before, and since there had been no professional medic nearby, only simple treatment had been performed: ultra-strong alloy had been used to stitch up the outer edges of the wound, covering it completely.

They had originally thought that settled it, but the wound was located in the central area of his head. Without this full-body scan, who would have known that fifteen conical screws were missing? As a result, Starscream's old injury would repeatedly recur later on. Eventually, he would not even be able to lift a gun and could only withdraw to the rear lines to recuperate.

And now, whether this brat's luck had finally turned or for some other reason, the female Autobot nurse before him had actually discovered the problem.

"Then hurry up and use whatever method you have! Just tell us what parts you need—we have plenty in the warehouse!"

Having occupied more than half the planet, the Decepticons now controlled an unimaginable amount of resources. That was why Rumble and the others spoke with such extravagant confidence.

"I was previously imprisoned in your warehouse. That place doesn't have the parts this lord needs."

Upon hearing Rumble's words, the female Autobot nurse immediately refuted him.

"What? What did you say? You stupid Autobot woman! How could we possibly not have the parts Lord Starscream needs?"

"Because all of you are land-based Transformer warriors, while Lord Starscream belongs to the air force. Your parts are not compatible!"

A professional was a professional—she had hit the nail right on the head.
