You Are a Dinobot?

"What's going on? What happened?"

When Starscream rushed out of the underground base, he was completely stunned by the scene before him. Although nearly everything outside had been blown to pieces, after conducting a rough scan with the radar system, Starscream was surprised to find that the slaves of the other races seemed completely unharmed. The only ones attacked had been the Xiongnu soldiers, and not a single one had been left alive.

It seemed the enemy's attack had been highly targeted. But when Starscream had first arrived on this planet, he had already had the Ever-Changing Steel System conduct a wide-ranging survey of its surface. There had seemed to be no signs of any super system or weapons!

Yet the shrapnel left on the ground and the powerful energy signatures could only have been produced by laser cannons from a high-level civilization. That was completely incompatible with humanity's current stage of civilization on this planet.

"Beep beep, warning, warning. We have been locked onto by the enemy. The enemy is in the air. Please evade immediately!"

Just as Starscream was feeling puzzled, the Ever-Changing Steel System suddenly issued a warning. His massive body appeared to have been locked onto by some sort of air-to-ground missile system.

So there really was some secret hidden in this place!

But this was no time for Starscream to think. The moment the Ever-Changing Steel System issued its warning, he spread his mechanical legs and bolted toward the other side of the grassland at incredible speed.

What Starscream had not expected at all was that the ground beneath the grassland was hollow to begin with. Combined with the section that had previously collapsed from excavation, it simply could not bear dozens of tons of weight. After only a few steps, the soil beneath his feet gave way, and the huge robotic warrior plunged straight down.

"Ow, what a deep pit!"

But that fall had actually saved him. Two seemingly old-fashioned air-to-ground missiles grazed over Starscream's head and exploded atop a small mound ahead, instantly sending flames soaring into the sky!

Boom! Boom!

What was that?

Using the towering blaze as illumination, Starscream immediately saw the enemy that had ambushed him. It looked like a giant bird, with enormous bat-like wings and a long, pointed beak. Under the moonlight and firelight, it reflected the metallic gleam only metal could produce.

Clearly, it was a mechanical bird, not a creature of nature.

"Starscream, transform!"

"System Boss, help me lock onto that target. I'm going after it!"

Starscream was no pushover. He was originally the Decepticons' aerial commander, and there had never been a sky that Starscream could not dominate!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The mechanical bird in the sky immediately sensed the danger coming from the ground. After its attack failed, it desperately flapped its wings and vanished from everyone's sight in an instant.

It seemed the enemy had flown into the clouds in order to shake off Starscream's pursuit, hoping to use the dark clouds and night to escape the red fighter jet behind it.

Unfortunately, Starscream had never relied on his eyes to track enemies. He used radar and infrared devices—and now he also had the Ever-Changing Steel System's assistance. No matter what kind of monster was ahead, Starscream would not lose it!

"Host, the one ahead appears somewhat similar to a Transformer recorded in our system. I must get closer to conduct a full-body scan!"

Sure enough, the one who had just ambushed Starscream seemed to be a Transformer on record. Yet Starscream did not seem to have received any information like this. No other Decepticon warriors had come to this planet, had they?

"No problem. No aerial prey can escape before my eyes, Starscream's eyes! Watch my acceleration!"

After receiving the Ever-Changing Steel System's instruction, Starscream's rocket thrusters expanded dramatically in all directions. A white-hot beam blasted out, instantly bringing his speed to twice the speed of sound and allowing him to rapidly close in on the target ahead.

"Scan initiated. Though the target has disguised itself, it cannot escape this system's match!"

The Ever-Changing Steel System's database apparently recorded more than just Decepticon warriors. It even stored data on many Autobots. One could only wonder who had created such a super system.

"Starscream, I didn't expect that after all these years, your propulsion devices and weapon systems would have been upgraded so well!"

Perhaps realizing that he could not escape, the giant bird suddenly turned its head and spoke to Starscream. From its tone, it seemed to be one of Starscream's old acquaintances!

At the same time, the Ever-Changing Steel System produced a match result and displayed it in Starscream's main processor.

"Beep beep beep. System match complete. The target's true identity is highly likely Swoop, a Dinobot warrior among the Autobots!"

What was going on? That guy ahead was actually one of the legendary Dinobots? Hadn't they disappeared from Cybertron long ago? Why had they appeared on this planet?

Starscream remembered that the Autobots had seemed to rule Cybertron during that era. He had fought those Dinobots before, and the outcome went without saying—he had definitely been beaten by them.

"Y-you're Swoop? How did you end up on this planet? I remember, I remember your leader Grimlock was once a heroic warrior of Cybertron. But why did all of you disappear later? I heard it had something to do with Unicron. Is that true?"

After receiving the Ever-Changing Steel System's information, Starscream instinctively shut down his infrared missile tracking system, because the other party was an Autobot warrior, not Starscream's enemy.

Of course, Swoop, the transforming mechanical pterosaur ahead, knew nothing of this. In his eyes, all Decepticons were enemies of the Autobots—especially that annoying fellow called Starscream, who had once been Megatron's lackey!

"Heh heh, Starscream, why did your tracking missiles suddenly fail? Did they rust up?"

Although Swoop found the sudden disappearance of the infrared tracking signal on him very strange, this wary Dinobot warrior did not develop any goodwill toward Starscream.
