When Sun Cheng opened his eyes, he realized that the spider-type Decepticon had stopped replenishing his energy. The moment he opened them, he saw the other party staring at him with great interest.

"It took over 900 energy units to fill you up. How did you burn through so much energy?"

"Are you trying to pry into Lord Starscream's plans?"

Sun Cheng shot back coldly.

The spider-type Decepticon shuddered. Though he, like Sun Cheng, was only a low-ranking Decepticon, unlike Frenzy, who had backing, he was merely a medical grunt—a mass-produced piece of cannon fodder.

Starscream's vicious reputation and sinister nature immediately intimidated him. The medical Decepticon awkwardly turned his head away, clearly not daring to ask any more questions.

Sun Cheng drew the fully charged [Core] back into his body, then reached up with a strange expression to touch his chest, his eyes thoughtful.

"The Level 2 [Core] I brought into the real world was locked in a drawer, some distance away from my body. Was that why it wasn't brought back?"

Thinking carefully, whether it was when he had first brought his iPhone 5 into this world or when he had taken that Level 2 [Core] back to reality, both instances had one thing in common—they had been on his person.

Once he realized this, vague ideas began to form in Sun Cheng's mind. But before he could seize upon the train of thought, the [Spy Template] warned him just as he stepped out of the [Supply Room].

Quickly pulling himself from his tangled thoughts, he turned his head and his expression darkened. Not far away, a rapid-fire machine gun was aimed at him. As if deliberately teasing him, its owner kept moving the muzzle between his limbs, chest, and head. It was none other than Beam Splitter.

"Are you looking to die?"

Sun Cheng snorted coldly, savage light flashing in his eyes as he looked at him. "Don't think that just because I dropped a level after being revived, I'll be afraid of trash like you from the Camera Team!"

Now that he had returned to this world and was facing Beam Splitter again, Sun Cheng no longer felt the slightest fear.

Having fully received Frenzy's sealed memories and learned exactly what kind of people the three members of the Camera Team were, he was now brimming with confidence. He knew Beam Splitter would not dare attack him again.

After Barricade intervened last time, this guy surely knew that Starscream needed him now.

Although all three pieces of trash in the Camera Team had problems with their heads to varying degrees, they were first-rate when it came to shirking responsibility and avoiding danger. Otherwise, after an entire Cybertronian Civil War, with high-ranking Decepticons falling in droves, these three weaklings would never have survived until the end of the war.

Therefore, Sun Cheng knew very well that as long as he acted as arrogantly as Frenzy had before his death, while taking advantage of the unequal information between them and betting that Starscream would never allow Beam Splitter to learn of his plan, this guy would never dare make a move against him.

Clearly, he had won that bet.

After sharply noticing that Sun Cheng's attitude toward him was completely different from before, panic visibly appeared in Beam Splitter's eyes. "Y-you... your memories..."

"What? Scared now? Hmph... With Lord Starscream taking action, I'll be able to regain my former strength once the mission is complete. You disgusting piece of trash, get the hell away from me..."

Putting on a vicious expression, Sun Cheng bared his teeth at the flustered Beam Splitter. He felt utterly satisfied, though he could not help feeling somewhat relieved as well.

"Good thing... good thing it's Beam Splitter, not Reflector or Spyglass..."

Among the three members of the Camera Team, if he recovered Frenzy's peak combat strength, then while he still could not defeat their combined form, Sun Cheng was confident that he could escape even if all three joined forces against him.

However, judging by the sealed memory data of Frenzy that he had newly absorbed, the Camera Team's combat strength was still decent. After all, most members of the Cassette Corps were not particularly powerful either.

Without question, Beam Splitter, standing before him, was the most shameless member of the Camera Team. This guy bullied the weak and feared the strong, craved authority and stole credit. The instant the situation turned unfavorable, he would even sell out his other two teammates.

Yet compared to his other two teammates, this man with such obvious weaknesses was actually the easiest to deal with.

Compared with Beam Splitter, Sun Cheng was undoubtedly more wary of Reflector and Spyglass from the Camera Team. The former was extremely dangerous, while the latter was exceptionally troublesome.

Reflector was the leader of the trio, as well as the most despicable of the three. This vile-tempered fellow's greatest hobby was blackmailing colleagues who had neglected their duties or made mistakes and feared punishment from their superiors. Arrogance might have been his fatal weakness, but among low-ranking Decepticons, his combat strength was probably among the very best. Even when facing high-ranking Decepticon warriors, he would dare fire off a few shots before running away.

As for Spyglass, Sun Cheng remembered that he was also highly skilled at gathering intelligence. The Decepticon Corps scientist who had created him had once tested a special alloy on his body. Although the technology had not been very mature at the time, that experiment had given Spyglass a body comparable to that of a high-ranking Decepticon warrior. Once he latched onto someone, he was extremely difficult to shake off.

After frightening Beam Splitter away with a round of threats, Sun Cheng fell into thought. He remembered that the three Camera Team members were generally inseparable.

But judging from Beam Splitter's attitude now, he guessed that Reflector and Spyglass had likely also been sent away by Starscream. He simply did not know how many more unspeakable schemes that sinister, cunning conspirator had hidden in secret.

Remembering Starscream's instructions before he had gone to the [Supply Room], Sun Cheng prepared to head for the [Cultivation Room] after coming out.

He had not even reached the main hall when he suddenly felt his [Core] pulse violently. He immediately stopped walking, closed his eyes, and stood there for more than ten seconds before opening them again.

"Starscream really guessed right. It really is Laserbeak..."

Just then, he had received a long-range transmission. The one who had contacted him was Laserbeak of the Cassette Corps.

Just as Starscream had guessed, Soundwave had sent Laserbeak to Earth. The moment he arrived on Earth, he contacted Sun Cheng and told him to shake off Barricade and the others as soon as possible to meet with him.

After pondering for only a moment, Sun Cheng had already made his decision.

Neither Starscream nor Soundwave was a big shot he could contend with at his current stage. If not for some of Frenzy's experiences, he would have been desperate to return to the Cassette Corps and cling to Soundwave's thigh.

Unfortunately, he had now recovered Frenzy's memories and could not guess Soundwave's current attitude toward him.

With such misgivings in his heart, Sun Cheng instead felt that staying with Starscream was more beneficial to him.

"Since the token of allegiance has been delivered, I need to submit it quickly. Never mind what exactly Starscream is plotting against Soundwave—getting the Spark he promised me first is what benefits me most right now!"

Having made up his mind, Sun Cheng was in no hurry to reply to Laserbeak. He quickened his pace toward the [Cultivation Room], intending to first report Laserbeak's arrival to Starscream and wait for his next orders.
