"Pretty quick to react, huh?"

As he watched more and more base guards rush over, dense gunfire continuously sweeping toward him, Sun Cheng could not help sneering inwardly.

With the strength of his current body, even aircraft cannons of 20mm caliber or above, renowned for their power, would need to repeatedly concentrate fire on a single section of his armor before they could possibly damage him.

As for infantry weapons, aside from a select few like anti-materiel sniper rifles, no one here could stop him from leaving.

Realizing this, Sun Cheng only accelerated. This was, after all, an American research base. There was no telling whether they had some disgusting weapon capable of keeping him here.

After all, the AllSpark had fallen into American hands for nearly a century. They had even managed to create machines capable of detecting Decepticon energy fluctuations. If they really had some black-tech weapon that could injure him, it would not be worth the risk.

"Set up a defensive line... Hurry and bring the Bradley over..."

"Stop him! Don't let him get near the hangars..."

"Fire... Fire! Damn it, our weapons can't penetrate its armor..."

Amid explosions all along the way, Sun Cheng charged forward madly.

After activating the rapid-fire machine gun concealed in his left arm, he fired from both sides as he swept onward. Nearly every burst took several fresh lives.

Reveling in the unrestrained thrill of destruction, he burst out of the electromagnetic interference zone once more. He kicked a base guard holding a riot shield head-on, sending him flying. The man crashed heavily onto the ground and never made another sound.

For some reason, a trace of sorrow suddenly surfaced in Sun Cheng's mind. "...Humans really are such fragile creatures..."

He coldly swept his gaze over the terrified humans around him, inexplicably feeling somewhat disinterested.

Look at the people in this secret American research base. Which of them was not part of America's elite? They were either technical experts or military veterans, far more glamorous than he had ever been in the real world.

But so what?

Before powerful extraterrestrial lifeforms—the Decepticons—their intelligence, no matter how great, could not conceal the fatal weakness of their fragile bodies. A single bullet, even a single black blade, could easily reap their precious lives.

Too weak!

The sorrowful resonance that had suddenly welled up within him finally made Sun Cheng, who had been exhilarated after obtaining the AllSpark, stop killing. With complicated emotions in his eyes, he glanced at the humans around him, who feared him like a demon, shifted back into his beast form, and charged at full speed toward the base entrance.

Simmons finally caught sight of the invader. Just as he led his team past the New Propulsion Research Center, heavy impacts and screams rang out from a nearby passage, making them immediately raise their weapons.

"Oh, shit. It's him—the ghost from Tucson..."

Simmons had good eyesight. Or rather, he had truly put considerable effort into repeatedly studying the clear footage of Sun Cheng's body taken in Tucson.

So when Sun Cheng appeared, although his size had changed somewhat in beast form, Simmons still recognized him from his similar outline.

"Fire... Fire... Stop it from escaping..."

A dense firing line formed by dozens of men opened up. Simmons shouted orders while firing continuously at Sun Cheng along with everyone else, clearly intending to stop him from advancing—or even capture him alive.

But he was soon disappointed. When he saw Sun Cheng still charging ferociously at them without slowing down in the slightest, Simmons's expression turned ugly, and he hurriedly waved his hand. "No, get out of the way..."

Two black-clad agents who failed to dodge in time were hurled into the air by Sun Cheng's massive impact. One smashed into a nearby pile of supply crates, while the other slammed heavily against a wall before falling down. Both were barely breathing, clearly on the verge of death.

"...Use the freeze guns. Freeze it with the freeze guns..."

At Simmons's unwilling order, several black-clad agents carrying freeze guns kept trying to spray liquid helium onto Sun Cheng's body with their strange weapons.

"Get lost..."

After carelessly allowing a section of his body to be frozen by liquid helium, Sun Cheng immediately flew into a rage. Two machine guns extended from the outer walls on either side of his forelimbs and began madly firing at the Sector Seven agents trying to capture him alive.

"Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat..."

Every energy round from Cybertronian technology that hit a target easily claimed another living life. Before long, he had routed the black-clad agents attempting to block his path.

Crack!

After moving his body and restoring the frozen section, Sun Cheng glanced at Simmons, who was hiding in a corner and staring at him in stunned disbelief. He gave him a cold, mocking smile, then continued charging toward the base entrance.

The closer he got to the entrance, the fiercer the base guards' counterattack became.

Forced to halt his advance to avoid several rifle grenades, Sun Cheng was met the next instant by the dense roar of Vulcan cannons, giving him a taste of humanity's firepower.

"Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat..."

After dozens of autocannon shells, each at least 30mm in caliber, struck his forelimbs in rapid succession and left several cracks in them, Sun Cheng had no choice but to take cover for the moment.

By now, the guards inside the base had fully reacted. Armed with large numbers of heavy weapons, they had apparently deduced from Sun Cheng's route that he intended to escape, and had therefore gathered more than half the base's defensive forces.

And it truly did stop Sun Cheng.

He released a group of insect scouts. When he saw more than ten armed Humvees and several M2 infantry fighting vehicles blocking his route, his brow furrowed slightly. He was especially wary of the M2s—the TOW anti-tank missiles mounted on them could tear apart even Barricade's body after he took a direct hit, let alone Sun Cheng, who was still some distance away from Barricade's strength.

Fortunately, although Sun Cheng did not yet possess Barricade's combat power, he was not too weak after obtaining the AllSpark.

With the evolved insect scouts, Sun Cheng unexpectedly discovered that the base guards had concentrated their forces along one exit route, while another direction had barely any defenses. He immediately changed course.

He directed the insect scouts to investigate the nearly undefended side. After quickly discovering an exit leading outside the base, he leaped into the air. Enduring the cost of adding several more cracks to his body, he destroyed the two large-caliber Vulcan cannons he feared most before continuing toward the exit.

Seven or eight minutes later, having already shifted back into humanoid form, he kicked open the tightly shut door and walked out of the elevator through a hail of bullets. Before him was a guard camp near Hoover Dam.

Sun Cheng raised his hand and fired several shots, adding several more lives to his tally.

After leaving the room housing the elevator, he casually glanced around as he stepped outside. His eyes suddenly caught a blue-gray figure nearby. He could not help walking closer for a look, and a strange expression appeared on his face.

"An MQ-9 Reaper drone? I never expected the U.S. military to have deployed one here too..."

Although he had picked up dense footsteps, alerts, and shouts from nearby, Sun Cheng was in no hurry to leave.

His gaze swept back and forth over the MQ-9 Reaper drone parked inside the camp for quite a while. Relying on the computational power of the AllSpark, he confirmed that he could simulate its transformation. In the end, he could not resist his longing for the skies.

He immediately abandoned the Beast form he had only acquired not long ago and chose to scan the Reaper drone.

Several dozen seconds later, a brand-new Reaper drone suddenly rose from the camp and quickly vanished into the night sky.

P.S.:

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Since everyone thought the Reaper was better than the Predator, I switched it to the Reaper.
