With another elite warrior finally under his command, Sun Cheng felt the pressure on his shoulders ease a little.

As the number of advanced and elite warriors under his command continued to grow, there was no longer any need to keep so many low-level warriors stationed at Base Two.

In other words, many of Sun Cheng's low-level warriors could now be freed up and rotated.

From the moment Pioneer entered the medical room, he saw Swindle's head inside the cultivation chamber.

As for Sun Cheng's long-standing desire to bring Swindle under his command, and Swindle's constant wavering, he had known about it.

It seemed Swindle had finally exhausted his master's patience.

Sun Cheng noticed his gaze as well, his voice utterly calm. "I gave him a chance. Thunder previously reported that during his time at Base Two, he sent a long-range transmission to someone unknown!"

After the Black Market was attacked, Sun Cheng broke out in a cold sweat when he recalled Swindle's earlier behavior.

If Base Two's exact coordinates had been exposed, its air-defense forces might have been no weaker than those on Trindade Island.

But air-defense systems were not omnipotent. If a group of Replica Soldiers had successfully landed there while he was absent from Base Two, the losses would have been unavoidable—and only greater than those suffered at the Black Market.

That was the final straw. It was why Sun Cheng had decided to act against Swindle and completely eliminate this bomb that could explode at any moment.

Swindle was not one of his old subordinates. Unlike Thunder and the others, he had been poached from Starscream.

Therefore, Pioneer felt no sorrow at another's downfall. He nodded and found an excuse to leave.

"Master, I've been away from the island for some time. When the Replica Soldiers
