Discovering Onslaught

Two alloy blades of differing sizes collided. Sun Cheng took two or three steps back, but after glancing at Hynix, he casually put away his weapon.

"Let's end today's training here."

Hynix nodded dully, put away his weapon, and stood to one side.

He understood what Sun Cheng meant. During their close-quarters fight just now, he had seemed to suppress Sun Cheng with strength far surpassing his opponent's.

However, while his bulky, massive body gave him unparalleled power, it also limited Hynix's reactions and speed.

During their sparring session, Sun Cheng had not even fully unleashed his speed, yet Hynix had already been forced to go all out—and still dealt with him in an extremely sorry state, with his vital areas struck more than a dozen times.

If this had not been training, Hynix knew full well what his fate would have been.

He was deeply dissatisfied with himself after receiving his new body, but Sun Cheng felt completely differently.

Looking at the somewhat dejected big fellow, Sun Cheng, having put away his weapon, clapped his hands to draw Hynix's attention.

"You've already done very well! I can clearly sense the surging energy filling your new body! Close combat was never your specialty. Your spark is holding you back, so there's no need to feel discouraged!"

Sun Cheng was indeed fairly satisfied with Hynix as he was now. Four days had passed in the blink of an eye since this dull but honest subordinate of his had awakened after receiving his new body.

Since Onslaught had disappeared from their sight after flying away from the moon, Base Two's satellites naturally could not monitor every inch of space between the moon and Earth, so Sun Cheng had not rushed back.

After Hynix awakened, Sun Cheng had remained here by Lake Titicaca,
