Asma had a nightmare. He dreamed that a terrifying monster appeared before him.
The monster had three hideous maws that looked ready to devour people. It was even more horrifying than the creatures of the abyss. Before it, Asma's entire body went weak and his legs trembled.
It could spew out vast quantities of poison gas that filled heaven and earth, making it hard to breathe and leaving people dizzy.
Then, once its target had passed out, it would tear its prey into three pieces with its three mouths, chew them up, and swallow them.
It was too terrifying!
Asma slowly woke up. What entered his sight was an incomparably dim basement, his body pressed against the cold floor.
Sure enough, it had all been a dream.
Asma breathed a sigh of relief. There was no three-mouthed monster, no poison gas—it had all been a dream. He had scared himself.
But very soon, Asma realized something was wrong. He tried to get up, only to discover that his hands and feet had all been bound, leaving him unable to move.
Huff, huff...
Heavy breathing came from behind him. Asma's body stiffened, and cold sweat instantly slid down his face.
With difficulty, he slowly turned his head. Then his pupils abruptly dilated in disbelief.
He saw that Ula, his only companion, was still unconscious, lying on his side on the ground.
Behind him, a muscular humanoid creature was sprawled over Ula's body, thrusting away without pause.
Wh-what the hell was this thing doing???
Asma was dumbfounded, his mind completely freezing at that moment.
Though it was rather dark, judging from the humanoid creature's head and green skin, it appeared to be a goblin?
But how could a goblin be so huge? Those bulging muscles were even more outrageous than those of knights who cultivated battle aura.
Most importantly, what the hell was it doing?!
"Huff... huff..."
Macho Goblin kept panting heavily, seemingly in an extremely excited state.
After his brain crashed for a moment, Asma finally understood the situation. Goblins were an exceptionally dark and vile species. They were generally small, lived in groups, and were often used by low-level human adventurers as beginner extermination quests.
The main reason was that goblins were weak, and because they remained in heat year-round, they reproduced at a terrifying rate. No matter how many were killed, they always seemed impossible to wipe out.
Thus, the various empires tacitly allowed novice adventurers to hunt and exterminate goblins, treating it as a way to curb their population.
But Asma soon noticed something else, because he saw silent tears streaming down Ula's face.
Oh, so Ula was already awake. But he did not dare truly wake up. Perhaps this was a nightmare for him.
"May the Lord bless you."
Asma prayed inwardly for his companion, then quietly turned back around and continued pretending to be unconscious, hoping this goblin covered in muscle would not notice him.
Otherwise...
At the thought of a goblin taking him through the back passage, Asma would rather bite off his tongue and kill himself, going straight to join his Lord.
"What are you doing?!"
Suddenly, a flash of light appeared, followed by a furious roar.
Asma instantly opened his eyes. That was the young man's voice!
So it hadn't been a dream?
Hearing his master's voice, Macho Goblin hurriedly climbed off Ula, looking flustered.
"Ge... ge..."
Guilt-ridden, Macho Goblin lowered his head, looking like someone who had done something wrong.
"I seriously can't believe you. Thank goodness, thank goodness."
Gu Xin was furious as he hurriedly checked Ula's condition.
But Ula's pants had not disappeared. It seemed Macho Goblin had not gone all the way, merely venting his beastly urges on Ula's body as discreetly as possible.
Gu Xin sighed inwardly in relief. Thank goodness.
"Ge..." Macho Goblin cautiously looked at Gu Xin, like a timid little wife who had done something wrong and did not dare speak.
"At least you were obedient. If you'd ruined him, I'd feed you to Baron Nashor."
Gu Xin glared at Macho Goblin.
These were precious materials he had only obtained with great difficulty. Even if he used them to make cards, he would not feel burdened by it.
If Macho Goblin really ruined them and affected their integrity, Gu Xin absolutely would not let this Macho Goblin off.
"..."
Macho Goblin shrank his neck and, full of grievance, did not dare make a sound.
As though it had heard its name as well, a strange dark-purple Void rift gradually emerged. Countless terrifying eyes flickered faintly within the void.
Baron Nashor had always been hidden at Gu Xin's side.
Noticing this, Macho Goblin swallowed hard and trembled all over.
"Get me a chair."
"Ge!"
Macho Goblin immediately scampered off, carried over a chair, and placed it behind Gu Xin.
"Since you two are awake, why aren't you saying anything?"
Gu Xin calmly sat down, crossed one leg over the other, took a sip of cola, and smiled.
His senses were excellent, so he could tell that both Asma and Ula had already awakened.
Realizing they could no longer keep pretending, Asma opened his eyes.
Ula's face beside him was livid, tinged with purple. He had fucking almost been violated by a goblin just now!!
How was he supposed to accept that?
"Who exactly are you, sir?" Asma asked calmly.
"That isn't important. I'm going to ask you some questions. As long as you answer properly, I can show you mercy."
"Really?"
"A gentleman's word is his bond. I'm an innocent college student—trust me."
Gu Xin answered without hesitation.
"Fine."
"Then for the first question: do you know how to access Black Net?"
"Black Net requires identity verification, as well as a letter of recommendation—that is, a referral from an already registered user. Only then can a newcomer enter."
Asma replied in a low voice, looking at Gu Xin strangely.
"You don't have access to Black Net, sir?"
"Is that strange?"
Gu Xin felt somewhat insulted by Asma's gaze. What was with that expression of, "A wicked person like you isn't a Black Net user?"
He, Gu Xin, was a bona fide law-abiding person of the lawful faction!
"Recommend me for Black Net."
Gu Xin said it to Asma without the slightest politeness.
"I can't. Only Black Net users above Level 3 have referral privileges. I'm only a Level 1 user."
"What about him?"
"Ula is the same as me."
What useless trash!
Gu Xin looked at them both disdainfully, though he still frowned.
He hadn't expected getting into Black Net to be so troublesome. It required a recommendation from a high-ranking internal user, which was rather problematic.
Could he just use Asma and Ula's accounts instead? He only wanted to use Black Net to buy some demi-humans, anyway.
Using their accounts seemed even safer.
"Sir, Black Net requires facial verification every time you log in." Asma seemed to have guessed Gu Xin's thoughts.
"Tsk."
"Second question: do you have any other accomplices?"
"No."
"Tell the truth, or I'll have my big guy give you a proper welcome."
Gu Xin narrowed his eyes slightly, his threat obvious.
Macho Goblin immediately began breathing heavily, staring excitedly at Asma and Ula, eager to give it a try.
"Really, there aren't any... In the battle against the Unclean, those of us who came to Yin City suffered terrible casualties. The remaining followers have all returned to the Lord's embrace."
Macho Goblin's intimidation was simply too powerful. Asma hurriedly answered, speaking much faster.
If he were violated by this goblin, then even with the Lord's love, he would definitely spend the rest of his life trapped in nightmares!
