Chikage Natsume unexpectedly finds himself transported to Tokyo, where he becomes a male high school student whose family has fallen on hard times.

Once a wealthy heir, he is now utterly penniless, crammed into a shabby ten-square-meter room and surviving on discounted boxed lunches.

To support himself and his hungry little sister, he has no choice but to struggle for survival in Tokyo, where every inch of land costs a fortune.

Then, one day, Chikage discovers that he can see and acquire "everyday-life equipment."

Yet the more equipment Chikage collects, the more he feels that something about his supposedly everyday-life gear is decidedly strange.

Meanwhile, he also notices that the girls around him are looking at him in increasingly peculiar ways...
