• Qi Dao overcame his disappointment in his Iron Sword Martial Soul, named it Peerless, and defeated Xiao Chenyu to become the first-years’ boss.
• Qi Dao defeated Xiao Haijie twice, using the Heart Sword State to win their rematch and its wager.
• Qi Dao rejected Yu Xiaogang’s offer to study his Martial Soul and continued cultivating through visualization and sword training.
• Qi Dao obtained a six-hundred-year-old Ironclad Turtle Soul Ring, which repaired Peerless and gave him the Peerless Sword Body Soul Skill.

Qi Dao left Notting City, gained Xue Qinghe’s support, and rose to prominence at Heaven Dou Academy and the Great Soul Arena. After recognizing the poison backlash afflicting Dugu Yan and Dugu Bo, he persuaded Dugu Bo to let him investigate the place that had helped suppress the poison.

• Qi Dao left for Heaven Dou City with his parents and fought three Fallen Soul Masters on the road, killing them after entering the state of unity with heaven and earth.
• Madam Ye healed Qi Dao and his father, and the Qi family traveled with her caravan to Heaven Dou City, where Qi Dao met Xue Qinghe and received her support.
• Qi Dao absorbed a fourteen-hundred-year Dark Gold Sword Bamboo Soul Ring, gained the Dark Gold Sword Array, and returned to Heaven Dou City with Xius.
• Xue Qinghe arranged for Qi Dao to attend Heaven Dou Academy, where he defeated Osler and challenged Zhou Huan, forcing the teacher back with his Heaven Guard Sword Intent.
• Qi Dao entered the Great Soul Arena as Sword Sovereign, defeated Yu Tianheng, and teamed up with Dugu Yan to win a two-on-two match.
• Qi Dao continued winning arena matches with Dugu Yan, drawing attention from major powers and earning praise from Xue Ye and Xue Qinghe.

Qi Dao used the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to prepare a cure for Dugu Bo, then survived a deadly hunt and broke through into the Sword Soul realm. After meeting Sword Douluo and returning to Notting City, he reunited with his family and crossed paths with Tang San and Xiao Wu.

• Dugu Bo took Qi Dao to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Qi Dao endured the herbs’ heat and cold and evolved Peerless with new attributes.
• Qi Dao explained the benefits of several Immortal Herbs, and Dugu Bo gave Dugu Yan the Earth Dragon Golden Melon, evolving her Jade Phosphorous Serpent into a Jade Phosphorous Dragon.
• After reaching Level Thirty, Qi Dao traveled with Li Luo to the Star Dou Great Forest and killed a Dark Gold Bear for his Third Soul Ring.
• While Qi Dao absorbed the Soul Ring, two Fallen Soul Masters attacked Li Luo, and a short bat-winged Soul Emperor pursued Qi Dao.
• Cornered and badly wounded, Qi Dao broke through into the Sword Soul realm and killed the Soul Emperor before escaping the forest.
• Xue Qinghe arranged for Qi Dao to meet Sword Douluo, who praised his swordsmanship and sparred with him as Qi Dao discussed the path toward Human-Sword Unity.
• Over the next three months, the Angel Legion purged Fallen Soul Masters, Dugu Bo formed a Soul Core, and Dugu Yan reached Level Forty.
• Qi Dao returned to Notting City, gave his parents Immortal Herbs that strengthened them and evolved his mother’s Martial Soul, then encountered Tang San and Xiao Wu at Notting Academy.

Qi Dao survived Tang Hao’s threat, advanced rapidly with Dugu Bo’s help, and gained a powerful External Soul Bone from a 70,000-year Dark Gold Bear. The arc ended with the Imperial Fighting Team winning a battle while Yu Xiaogang realized Shrek Academy could not enter the Soul Master Tournament.

• Qi Dao’s spar with Xiao Wu left her unconscious, and Tang San’s challenge ended with Qi Dao overpowering him and threatening Tang Hao with Sword Intent placed inside Tang San and Yu Xiaogang.
• Qi Dao moved his parents to Heaven Dou City for safety, while Hans expelled Yu Xiaogang from Notting Academy and Tang Hao told Tang San about Ah Yin’s sacrifice.
• Qi Dao ate the Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum, broke through Level 40, and later killed a 20,000-year Dark Gold Bear to reach Level 44.
• Qi Dao accompanied Dugu Bo to confront Chrysanthemum Douluo, who helped Qi Dao absorb the herb’s remaining power and gave him a book about Immortal Herbs.
• Qi Dao reached Level 50 and joined Dugu Bo in hunting the 70,000-year Dark Gold Bear, which Dugu Bo defeated before Qi Dao killed it.
• Qi Dao absorbed the bear’s 70,000-year Soul Ring, gained an External Soul Bone called Gold-Devouring Fang, and advanced to Level 55.
