But that did not change her opinion of Hogwarts. At least in her eyes, Vaughn and Hogwarts were two entirely separate matters.
Madame Maxime had stressed more than once that she needed to seize this opportunity-and hold on to Vaughan Weasley.
Fleur was deeply unhappy about that. She had never wanted to become anyone's accessory, especially not a boy four years younger than her.
After meeting Vaughan Weasley, that feeling had faded somewhat. The maturity in his every gesture, his profound eyes, and the wisdom evident in his words all made people forget his age.
But frustration followed close behind. She had assumed everything would be far too easy. At Beauxbatons, a mere crook of her finger would have brought any number of people rushing over to dine with her.
Yet with Vaughn, Fleur found that her quarter-Veela heritage seemed to have stopped working. She knew Veela could not influence strong-willed wizards, but that boy was only twelve!
Meanwhile, the redheaded Weasley named Ron looked as though he had lost his soul whenever he saw her. Fleur truly struggled to imagine that they were twin brothers.
Fleur had never expected that, after finally persuading herself to follow Madame Maxime's instructions and approach Vaughn, she would now
