"The troll was killed!"

That very night, the news spread throughout Hogwarts!

By the next day, many little wizards who usually loved sleeping in did not even have time to wash their faces. Still bleary-eyed, they followed the crowd out into the courtyard.

November had arrived at Hogwarts, and frost covered the ground.

Their footsteps crunched over it, while the cold wind seemed to blow straight into their bones.

But that could not dampen everyone's enthusiasm.

A headless troll corpse lay in the courtyard beneath a coating of frost, surrounded by little wizards. Filch had nailed a sign in front of it, briefly describing what had happened the night before.

"...Mr. Vaughan Weasley and Mr. Ron Weasley each had 10 points deducted for leaving the feast midway, in violation of school rules. However, upon encountering the troll, both young men displayed great courage, composure, and quick thinking. In the end, Mr. Vaughan Weasley used his exceptional spellwork, with assistance from Mr. Ron Weasley, to kill the troll. Therefore, 30 points are awarded to Slytherin, and 20 points to Gryffindor!"

Such dry rewards and punishments obviously could not satisfy the little wizards' curiosity.

But there was no need to worry. It was Halloween, there were no classes, and they had plenty of time to ask around.

The fun-loving Gryffindors had begun preparing the night before, holding a celebratory "breakfast feast" in the tower that day. The excited twins had handed invitations to every House.

Whenever they saw someone, they cheered, "The ones who killed the troll were our little brothers!"

When the little wizards from the other Houses arrived at the tower, Percy, the Weasley Family's eldest brother, greeted them with a beaming smile, his gleaming prefect badge pinned to his chest.

"Thank you for coming to my brothers' celebration feast."
