The Himalayas, Kamar-Taj.
In the huge courtyard, mages gathered in twos and threes, chatting and strolling leisurely.
"Hey, have you heard? Iron Man Stark is going to license the steel armor!"
"News from the outside world?"
"Yeah. It's been all over the place lately. The news is everywhere."
"I heard about it too. Rumor says they've already started up several armor-manufacturing factories and are going to mass-produce the armor."
"They're all just ordinary people. What does that have to do with us mages?"
Constantine had just come in from outside the courtyard when he heard their conversation, and he greeted them warmly.
"Yo~ isn't this Jett?"
"Jade, you're here too?"
"Old Li, haven't seen you for two days. What happened to your leg?"
The mages all bent their heads and lowered their gazes, their expressions changing drastically one after another, and ran faster than rabbits. In just a few short days, Constantine's "great name" had already resounded throughout all of Kamar-Taj.
"Jack, this won't do. It's only been a few days since we last met, and your kidneys are already this weak?"
His face deathly pale and his steps unsteady, one young mage had been a little slower to run and was immediately called out by Constantine.
"."
He slapped his own thigh in frustration. The moment the mage thought back to what happened that day, he almost broke down.
"Bastard, Constantine, you fucking screwed me over!!"
Hadn't he just been unwilling to accept it?
Recently, he had seen more and more people fall into the hands of Constantine, that pretty boy, and had wanted to personally step in and teach him a harsh lesson, then make him get out of Kamar-Taj!
The bold words he had spoken before setting off that day still seemed to ring in his ears.
