Emperor Shitian raised a hand and pointed at Loki. He had great faith in his eye for people; a thousand years of experience told him this fellow reeked of conspiracy.
That smell was far too familiar to him.
I'm sneaking around like a creep? How rude can you get?
The corners of Loki's mouth twitched, and his expression looked terrible. He had originally planned to leave after seeing Thor, but because his hand had gotten itchy and Mjolnir had delayed him for a moment, he had run into these two strange fellows in front of him.
But.
"Mortals, who gave you permission to look the God-King in the eye? Kneel!"
With a wave of his hand, Loki dispersed the magical disguise around him. Clad in gold-and-green battle armor, he revealed himself, Odin's Scepter glowing faintly in his hand as astonishing arcane magical power surged outward in all directions like a tide.
Feeling his presence from a temporary vantage point, Hawkeye held his bow and aimed at the position below, his hands not trembling in the slightest.
"Coulson, who are these people down there?"
"Unfortunately, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intelligence system can't find any information on them."
Watching the standoff below, Coulson shook his head slightly.
"Is that so?"
Hawkeye was not surprised at all by that answer. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s confidence in its intelligence had long since been numbed by wave after wave of supernatural incidents.
It was nothing. They just couldn't find anything, right? You got used to it!
"God-King? What a familiar title. Just as arrogant as that wicked disciple of mine named 'Emperor Shitian.'"
As if he had thought of something, Emperor Shitian withdrew his hand
