Smashing aside several annoying cars on the road, Obadiah drove the Iron Monger forward, running rampant without restraint.

Perhaps because he had shaken off pursuit, and because the scene had become far too noisy, his overheated mind finally cleared.

He turned onto a side road, heading for another, more remote route. He knew of a place where he could take shelter for the time being.
