So the rest of the journey could only be considered eventful but safe.
Along the way, Hinata and the others truly witnessed the unknown side of this world—or rather, a side they normally would never have been able to see.
There were scorpions half the height of a person.
If one of those things actually stung someone,
they would probably be finished on the spot.
Hinata immediately thought of Sasori of the Red Sands.
So there had been some basis for that nickname after all.
Of course, that was not all.
Even the cacti most commonly seen in deserts grew taller and larger here.
And they were covered in deadly poison.
There were Sakura creatures that seemed to feed entirely on sand.
And Desert Eagles soaring through the skies.
This made Hinata's imagination run wild.
Desert Eagle, huh.
There were many more things like that, though none of them amounted to much.
What Hinata and the others found most unbelievable was
that one day, while they were traveling,
they saw something on the horizon, soaring high in the heavens—a massive creature covered in dazzling colors, scattering specks wherever it flew.
It seemed like a rainbow, so incredible that it was hard to believe.
They had never heard of or seen such an animal—or rather, such a creature.
At least the others could be given some forced name, like Sasori of the Red Sands or Desert Eagle.
Though perhaps that creature could simply be called a "bird."
Hinata thought mischievously,
This world seemed even more wonderful than she had imagined. But unfortunately, no one had the chance—or the time—to experience such a wonderful life.
Even for Hinata herself, this time was merely a stroke
