Shizune, seated in the office building, and Inoichi Yamanaka and Choza Akimichi, standing beside her, watched it all in silence.
Inoichi Yamanaka sighed. "Looks like Shikaku was right."
Shizune remained silent.

If Danzo truly only wanted to deal with the Hyuga Clan, why would he need to make enemies of the two advisers and the Hokage's faction, with whom he had never gotten along in the first place?
Even if Danzo succeeded and wiped out the Hyuga Clan, he would certainly suffer devastating losses if the Hyuga Clan had been prepared.
And after this was over, once Tsunade returned to Konoha, she would surely join forces with the two advisers to completely overturn everything Danzo had built.
Danzo was simply too dangerous and too lawless.
