Naruto was one of the most anxious. He had already let one companion leave him; how could he lose another now?
Though logically, Hinata was not as important as Sasuke. After all, Sasuke had been on the same team as him, while Hinata had not.
But no matter what, Naruto would never allow something like that to happen a second time.
Of course, it was not only the Rookie Nine who were rushing over. Might Guy was darting through a forest, muttering, "Kids these days really never let people rest easy."
Kurenai Yuhi, Hinata's teacher in name, was naturally coming as well. She and Asuma had originally been handling some matters in Konoha, but after hearing that voice,
though they still did not know what had happened, they definitely needed to be there.
On a rooftop stood the Clan Heads of the three Ino-Shika-Cho families: Shikaku Nara, Inoichi Yamanaka, and Choza Akimichi.
The three stood there casually, their gazes fixed in that direction.
Yet they showed no intention of setting out. The reason was simple: rashly involving themselves in something like this would bring no benefits whatsoever.
What was more, their identities represented three of Konoha's still-powerful clans.
Thus, they could only remain neutral in this matter. Naturally, that was partly because of Hinata and the possible involvement of that mysterious Dawn Organization.
But what truly mattered was the Hyuga Clan's stance, which was still unclear.
This matter had become rather troublesome. Shikaku Nara said, "We still don't know how long this has been going on."
Inoichi Yamanaka shook his head. "Forget it. This really is quite a troublesome matter."
Choza Akimichi said, "Why worry so much? Were things really smooth sailing when we were young? Children and grandchildren have their own fortunes. I've never interfered with Choji's affairs."
