This was the ninth settlement explored by Green, Emperor Mixed Flame, and the Amethyst Behemoth King's consciousness avatars, jointly inhabiting a Gold-Devouring Aphid.

Compared with the other settlements in this cluster, this fringe settlement did not have many exiles; it could even be described as sparsely populated. Yet within such a settlement lurked a terrifying Overlord who had lived through long, ancient ages.

Beneath them floated a Void Starfall in the empty void. A walking stick stood atop the starfall, and the old frog sat cross-legged in meditation on its tip, calmly conversing with the three Overlord consciousness avatars that had emerged from the amber Gold-Devouring Aphid.

Green's consciousness avatar wore a grave expression. Emperor Mixed Flame and the Amethyst Behemoth King were the same.

Although the three had already encountered more than ten descending Overlords, there was no doubt that this old frog was, by their most direct impression, the strongest Overlord they had seen!

Once a lifeform evolved to this level, it had wholly gravitated toward some form of consciousness or embodiment of rules. It became a myth passed down by word of mouth among lesser biological races; every movement could stir the rules. Before such a vast gulf, even if these Overlords wished to communicate across levels of life before lesser creatures, the latter could not comprehend it. Thus, these Overlords could exist only in the myths of lesser biological races.

The old frog before them had drooping eyelids and the bleary, weary look of old age, yet Green sensed an indescribable force of intimidation from it.
