Back then, I had reached out in delight for the Fate Page, only for my hand to pass straight through it. I got nothing. Was it merely an illusion?

Clearly, it was because Antonio's Wisdom Light letter had not yet been fully read.

Later, I noticed a subtle disturbance in the room's atmosphere. I did not know whether it had anything to do with my own strange state, because everyone—all the students—was looking at me!

No, they were not looking at me.

I realized that they were looking at this manifested little boy. Some covered their mouths and laughed; some continued reciting from their books while turning their heads toward the boy; others pretended to be utterly absorbed in their reading.

They were only a group of sixteen- and seventeen-year-old children, at the age of innocence and wonder, enjoying all that was beautiful. They possessed boundless energy and were filled with infinite unknowns, just like Green during his days as a wizard apprentice, when every day had been joyful and fulfilling.

The world was so vast that one could spend an entire lifetime imagining its dazzling splendor.

Later, I noticed that a tall man had somehow appeared behind me. He was watching the little boy, who was wholeheartedly writing upon the Fate Page. Though I could not make out his face clearly, Green felt an incomparable majesty from him!

I had felt this before. It was how Peranos had looked at me during my time as a wizard apprentice.

He had looked at me with earnest eyes and held impossibly high expectations for me. Because of that, even the tiniest mistakes would be magnified without limit in the eyes of Mentor Peranos, who cared for me, and his demands became ever harsher.

And because of that, Green's feelings had changed
