A Visit

Luo Yunji learned through talking with the man that he really was in the sky—and not just any part of it, but high, high above the ground. They were even over the Thunder Marsh Sea!

"Where are we going now?" After walking for a long time, Luo Yunji looked around at the clouds filling the sky. He could no longer see the "island" where he had been before, and unease stirred in his heart.

"To the place where I live!"

"It's so far! Do you live in the clouds?" Luo Yunji was starting to regret following the man.

"We'll be there soon! The place where you first arrived is a little far from our settlement," the man explained.

"How am I supposed to get back?" Thinking of the Black Water Mystic Snake he had left behind in the Thunder Marsh Sea, Luo Yunji hurriedly asked.

"When the time comes, you'll naturally leave!" The man smiled mysteriously, giving no direct answer.

The place the man took Luo Yunji to turned out to be a village!

He really wanted his senior brothers to come and see it, but he didn't even know how to leave. Whenever he looked at the clouds beneath his feet, he couldn't bring himself to jump. Falling into the Thunder Marsh Sea would be all right, but if he went straight down to the ground, he'd end up as a meat pancake.
