The Southern Border produced furs and minerals, both highly prized in the Central Plains. With the Bamboo Bag and the Mountain and River Fan in his possession, Zhang Xiaofan bought a great many such local specialties.
After their meal, the group strolled leisurely through Tianshui Village to walk it off. Suddenly, they heard a whoosh overhead. Looking up, they saw several streamers streak across the sky and fall toward the west.
Luo Yunji and the others had sharp eyes—well, except for that brat Luo Yunji, who wasn't paying the slightest attention to the streamers.
Zhang Xiaofan and Xiaobai recognized the five streamers as cultivators flying on their magical treasures. The three behind were chasing the two ahead, but couldn't catch up, while the two in front couldn't shake their pursuers.
When the two leading streamers finally fell toward the southwest side of the village, Zhang Xiaofan thought for a moment, then told Xiaobai and Luo Yunji what he was doing before using his Footwork to take to the air and give chase.
