"So what?" he said to Xiao Yan with a vicious look. "A trick is still just a trick! Once I recover, everything you've done will be meaningless!"
Xiao Yan suddenly laughed, utterly at ease. "Nihility Devouring Flame, you've lost your composure after all."
"Who said it was meaningless?"
As Xiao Yan spoke those words lightly, Nihility Devouring Flame suddenly felt the dark space he was sustaining begin to shake. It had been the perfect ground from which to fight Xiao Yan, but he could no longer hold it together. Fine cracks spread across the black barriers on every side. He could no longer keep Xiao Yan trapped here. Worse, he sensed a tremendous threat—a fear rising from the depths of his soul, rooted in his very existence as a Heavenly Flame.
