"Hello, my name is Charlie. Charlie Weasley."

Silvan raised an eyebrow at the familiar redhead before him. He hadn't expected Alastair's guide to be someone he already knew.

"We've met before, in Diagon Alley. Do you remember?" Charlie had clearly recognized Silvan as well. He took a wand from the clasp on his sleeve.

"This is the wand you helped me choose. It's saved me from dragon jaws countless times."

"Of course. I remember it clearly," Silvan said, glancing at the wand as well.

Its surface was smooth and clean, without a single dent or scratch.

"You've maintained this wand well."

"Back when I was at school, I didn't understand any of this. I thought a wand was just a tool, and it didn't matter how I treated it."

"But now I know how important a good wand is. Sometimes, if your spell takes shape half a second before your enemy's, you get to live." Charlie shrugged. "Besides, I don't want Mr. Ollivander to scold me again."

Silvan smiled. "My grandfather is usually quite kind. He rarely scolds people, especially guests."

"I suppose so." Charlie spread his hands self-mockingly. "All right, enough about that. This is your first time at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, right? I'll give you a proper tour."

Charlie led Silvan into the woods. Silvan had expected something like the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts, but once they entered, he realized the trees merely served to block the view.

"That's a large-scale Muggle-Repelling Charm, just like the one at the Leaky Cauldron," Charlie explained. "If a Muggle wanders in by mistake, they'll see the creature they fear most...

"What was the Muggle-Repelling Charm at the Leaky Cauldron again? Oh, right. Suddenly remembering something terribly urgent. That works even better!"

"Do Muggles often wander into the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary?"
