Professor McGonagall did not even have time to change out of her pajamas before hurriedly seeking out the other two Heads of House to discuss a solution. Hogwarts' survival was at stake, and she had to resolve this threat as quickly as possible.

It would be fine if Alecto Carrow knew where those hundred Death Eaters were hiding. But if she did not, they would have to find them without alerting Snape, the headmaster.

That meant they had to be wary of every portrait in the castle, which was no easy task.

After Professor McGonagall left, Silvan turned back into a cat and went out into the corridor.

As long as Alecto Carrow had not left the dungeons, he could relax a little and did not need to be especially cautious.

Silvan and Malfoy had completely different views on how to deal with this Death Eater.

Malfoy thought they should lock Alecto Carrow up, then find someone to impersonate her with Polyjuice Potion and use that to feed false information to Snape and Voldemort.

It sounded like a good plan, but Silvan hesitated for less than a second before shaking his head in refusal.

Snape and Voldemort were not fools. They were more cautious than anyone. Unless someone could perfectly replicate Alecto Carrow's personality and habits, having only the same face would be useless. They would be exposed sooner or later.

Of course, Silvan had no intention of killing Alecto Carrow outright, either. He needed Voldemort to believe that everything at Hogwarts was normal, buying time for Professor McGonagall and the others.

So he planned to cast a Memory Charm on Alecto Carrow, making her forget everything she had seen after leaving the Slytherin Common Room.
