Background / History

Lin Bei was originally an unemployed young man before transmigrating to the Douluo Continent at age six, where he became an orphan bearing the same name. He awakened the Senzu Bean martial soul, whose healing and mental-energy restoration effects allowed him to excel at Randall Junior Soul Master Academy and later Heaven Dou Royal Academy. There he befriended Xue Ye, whose support aided his advancement and noble status. 15

His martial soul later evolved, and his reputation as a healer earned him the title Senzu Bean Divine Doctor. At nineteen, he met A Yin while helping one of her patients; they traveled together, fell in love, married, and had a son, Lin Ke. 15

In Martial Soul City, Lin Bei revealed the Pangu Creation Axe martial soul, drawing the attention of Qian Renxue, Salas, and Bibi Dong. Bibi Dong accepted him as her disciple and Martial Soul Hall provided him with an estate overseen by A Fu. 13 14 He subsequently became the Saint Child, though his rapid rise caused both admiration and unease within the organization. 26 33

Much of Lin Bei's advancement comes from a time-traveling simulator rather than conventional meditation; he admits he only studied Bibi Dong's Meditation Method for three nights before relying on the simulator for Soul Power. 27 The simulator later unlocks Projection, allowing him to experience simulation timelines and acquire abilities, knowledge, and items across different worlds. 40

After returning from five years of training in the Bewildering Grand Canyon, Lin Bei had reached Titled Douluo at twelve.
