Suddenly, a green-robed figure approached from ahead.
Recognizing the newcomer, the Demon God of Deception froze briefly, then hurried over with a grin:

The green-robed figure stopped at his voice, looked up, and said flatly:
"Star, what, am I not allowed out?"
Hearing that name sent a jolt through the Demon God of Deception's heart, but he put his playful grin back on:
"Of course you are! You misunderstood, Third Brother. I was just curious."
His gaze casually swept over Yang Mei's waist, and he suddenly said:
"Third Brother, have you quit drinking? You didn't even bring your wine flask."
Yang Mei followed his gaze and glanced down, his tone indifferent:
"I forgot it. What, are you trying to boss your third brother around now?"
Deception hurriedly waved his hands. "No, no, just curious. Third Brother, where are you headed? Let me come along. You'll have some company on the way."
Yang Mei watched him silently for several moments. Finding nothing but a carefree grin on his face, he finally nodded slightly and walked straight ahead:
"Very well. Come along, then."
The Demon God of Deception chuckled and eagerly followed, but his eyes remained fixed on Yang Mei's back, his brows furrowing.
One behind the other, they traveled through the void of chaos and arrived in a world rife with disorder.
