Rebel PL 6000.

Rebel was driven to the brink of madness by Mu Fengyu's constant interruptions; every one of his plays had been stifled. Fortunately, the monsters on his field were formidable and not easily dealt with.

He only needed to wait until the next turn, when the Primal Being Token with 5400 ATK would be enough to finish him off.

Looking over at Mu Fengyu, he saw him close his eyes, place his hand on the card slot, and whisper to himself.

"Little bugs, you'll appear for me because of our bond, won't you?"

Mu Fengyu stroked the card and slowly opened his eyes. On the card was a beautiful garden, with a little green-haired girl standing in the center.

Mu Fengyu excitedly slapped the card into the left slot and shouted with fervor.

"The bond of a duelist truly never lies."

"I activate the Field Spell card Traptrix Garden. I normal summon Ranka Traptrix from my hand and activate its effect to add one Trion Traptrix to my hand."

The field below transformed into a garden in an instant. Emerald grass sprouted like a virus across the ground, and a brown-haired girl emerged directly from the soil.

"Next, I use Ranka to Link Summon Sera the Traptrix."

"I activate the effect of Parallel eXceed from my hand. When a Link Monster is summoned to the field, I can special summon it along with another Parallel eXceed from my deck."

The Ranka on the field gradually shrank, transforming into a blue-haired, twin-tailed little girl. Immediately after, a surge of lightning erupted; once it subsided, two identical mechanical dragons floated behind Sera.

Mu Fengyu waved his hand and shouted loudly.

"I overlay the Parallel eXceeds to Xyz Summon Traptrix Rafflesia and activate the Trap card Cloth Armor."

A face-down card in the back row slowly flipped open. A ghost with blue flames atop its head and clad in cloth armor appeared behind Sera.

"I activate Sera's effect to special summon Ranka Traptrix from the deck, then activate its effect to return a face-down card to my hand and set it again."

"Then, I continue to activate Sera's effect to set a Trap card on the field."

"I normal summon Trion Traptrix and activate its effect to add a Trap card to my hand."

"Finally, I activate my face-down card: the Magic card Light Seal. It will remain on the field for three turns, during which the opponent's monsters cannot battle in attack position."

A small patch of the garden was gradually replaced by desert. A girl with ant-like mandibles slowly emerged from the sand, and five blades forged of light plunged straight into the ground behind her.

Iron chains intertwined at the ends of the swords. Once they connected, all of Rebel's monsters on the field were switched from attack position to defense position.

Mu Fengyu took a deep breath and said calmly.

"Turn end."

Seeing the monsters on Mu Fengyu's field, Rebel laughed and immediately began to taunt him relentlessly.

"Hahahaha, do you expect these monsters with no attack power to defeat me? Or do you think you can hold out for five more turns and let the effect of Lava Golem kill me?"

"At most, you're only buying yourself three more turns."

"My turn, draw. I set a card in the back row."

Rebel drew a card and immediately special summoned his monster.

"Hold on."

Mu Fengyu reached out to stop him from continuing his summon and flipped over a Trap card.

"Bottomless Trap Hole. I can only use this when the opponent summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK. It destroys that card immediately."

Perhaps because his plays had been blocked so many times, he appeared incredibly calm now. With three powerful monsters as his backup, he wanted to see what else Mu Fengyu could do.

"Every time a Trap card is activated, Sera can summon a Traptrix monster in defense position. I summon Trion and activate its effect to destroy your back-row set card."

"Sera continues to activate her effect to set a Trap card in the back row."

Rebel PL -1000, PL 5000.

Rebel gave up his turn directly and asked.

"No matter how much you stop my plays, how are you going to deal with the three monsters on my field?"

"That's none of your concern. I'll send you packing in these two turns."

"My turn, draw. I use two Trion to Link Summon Predaplant Verte Anaconda and activate its effect, paying 1000 Life Points."

"I activate Fusion Destiny to Fusion Summon using two Destiny HERO monsters from my deck."

The phantoms of two humans had just appeared when they were twisted by a force and fused together. A wave of heat rushed forward, and a monster with flaming wings and a bird mask flew in front of Mu Fengyu.

"Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer. I activate its effect to destroy itself along with the Primal Being Token."

Flames roared on the Phoenix Enforcer's body, wrapping him in scorching heat. He charged toward the Primal Being Token without hesitation. As soon as the Phoenix Enforcer approached, the flames rapidly coiled around the token's body.

No matter how it struggled, the flames showed no signs of extinguishing until both monsters were burned to ash.

"Then, turn end."

Mu Fengyu PL -1000, PL 2600.

"My turn. I summon Atrax the Traptrix."

"I activate Rafflesia's effect, discarding a material and a Trap card from my deck to gain the effect of that Trap card."

"Destroy a monster with 1500 or more ATK."

Mu Fengyu didn't give him any chance to play, keeping him locked down completely. Rebel set a card and numbly ended his turn.

Rebel PL -1000, PL 4000.

"My turn. Phoenix Enforcer's effect returns it to the field from the graveyard this turn."

"I use the Trap card Rescue Device to return the Primal Being Nibiru to my hand. I activate Sera's effect to special summon Traptrix Atrax."

"I summon Genlisea Traptrix and use Genlisea and Atrax to Xyz Summon Traptrix Allomerus."

The red-haired girl revealed her form amidst the light.

"Phoenix Enforcer activates its effect to destroy itself and Lava Golem."

A scene similar to before played out again; the Phoenix Enforcer used its life once more to resolve the enemy.

"Now then, Allomerus in attack position, targeting the Brave Token."

The girl and the phantom of light collided fiercely. After a flash of light, the phantom turned into fragments and slowly vanished into the air.

Rebel PL -200, PL 3800.

"Verte Anaconda, Sera, direct attack."

Verte Anaconda's slender body slammed directly into the barrier beneath Rebel.

Rebel PL -500, PL 3300.

Sera gathered a mass of cyan light in her hand and followed Verte Anaconda, crashing into the barrier as well.

Rebel PL -800, PL 2500.

Rebel let out a sigh of relief. If he could draw that card next turn, he could still turn defeat into victory.

Mu Fengyu looked at him, stroking his deck as he spoke.

"Do you think you can draw the card you're hoping for? Or do you think I'll give you another chance?"

"You have no more attacks left. How could you possibly defeat me this turn?"

Mu Fengyu sneered, his memory drifting back to a few days ago.

"Yu-san, I obtained this card with great difficulty. Among us, only you have the chance to win."

Peroroncino supported Momonga. At this moment, Momonga's tone was noticeably deeper, his voice raspy.

"Cough, cough, cough. Although I don't know if I'll have the chance to see you win the championship, Yu-san, let this card witness your victory in my stead!"

Mu Fengyu also made a tearful expression, took the card, and said solemnly.
