Mu Fengyu gathered up the dropped food, clapped his hands, and smiled helplessly. Under Emerald Tablet's horrified gaze, he took out a little notebook and carefully recorded what had happened today before shrugging and saying with a smile.
"Don't look at me like that. We're all companions. How could I be so petty?"
"Believe me, I would never blow up Emerald Tablet's workshop, or take out the items Emerald Tablet hid in Rubedo's room and sell them."
"No, how did you know I hid things with Rubedo? I didn't tell anyone."
"Ahem, let's not dwell on such trivial matters. Let's talk about the anniversary celebration instead."
As he spoke, Mu Fengyu righted the table and set some more food on it. A flicker of embarrassment and surprise crossed Emerald Tablet's face as he was ignored. He had not expected Mu Fengyu to know his secret, but soon felt relieved.
After all, this guy was the most unreliable one in the guild. Who knew when he might pull out some strange item and happen to see him hiding things? Once he got back, he definitely had to find a new place for his treasures.
"Fine, since you already know, I won't hide it anymore." Emerald Tablet cleared his throat, trying to change the subject. "Let's discuss the anniversary celebration plans. That's what everyone cares about most."
As a shareholder in the game, Mu Fengyu naturally had access to quite a bit of insider information. He cleared his throat, looked around at the companions seated around the table, and began explaining the upcoming anniversary celebration event.
"First, this year's anniversary celebration will be different from previous events. They've abandoned the citywide item hunt format and switched to a time-limited monster format."
