Connection to Yu Xiaogang

Bibi Dong has a past romantic connection with Yu Xiaogang. During their confrontation at Shrek Academy, Chen Ping’an accuses Yu Xiaogang of seducing her with flattering words and using Spirit Hall’s materials and research to compile his martial soul theories. Yu Xiaogang publicly denies having any relationship with her 16.

Her attachment nevertheless persists. When Chen Ping’an later attacks Yu Xiaogang, she intervenes to protect him despite his relationship with Liu Erlong 62.

Investigating the Mysterious Expert

Bibi Dong first becomes involved after Yue Guan reports two extraordinary battles in the Balak Kingdom. The same Sword Martial Soul expert fought a Clear Sky Hammer wielder and then forced the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to close its gates. Estimating the unknown fighter’s strength at Rank 97 or possibly Rank 98, she orders further investigation and hopes to recruit him into Spirit Hall 8.

She subsequently inspects the aftermath of Chen Ping’an’s attack in the Star Dou Great Forest and recognizes that the strike reached the level of a divine skill 15. After another eruption of energy, she personally investigates again, sensing traces of a Rank 90 Titled Douluo and two Soul Beasts stronger than any 100,000-Year Soul Beast she had previously encountered 31.

The unknown expert threatens both her political plans and her ambition to become a god. She responds by moving the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament—and Spirit Hall’s other plans—ahead of schedule 31. The subsequent destruction of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect further unsettles her, since her own Soul Hunting Operation has not yet begun 44.

Tournament and Confrontation at the Pope’s Palace

Before the tournament final, Bibi Dong directs Spirit Hall Academy’s team to eliminate Skywater Academy’s healing-type Soul King first. Her concerns extend beyond Zhu Zhuqing and Bi Tianling: evidence increasingly points to an eighteen-year-old Titled Douluo behind Skywater Academy and the earlier destructive battles 57.

After Skywater Academy wins, she formally announces its championship and hands over the three prize Soul Bones. She offers Zhu Zhuqing a place in Spirit Hall, but Zhu Zhuqing declines 59.

Bibi Dong then orders Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo to seize Bi Tianling, identifying her as a transformed 100,000-Year Soul Beast. When Liu Ruyan refuses to surrender her student, Bibi Dong authorizes her subordinates to kill anyone who interferes 59 60.

Chen Ping’an intervenes, revealing himself as the mysterious expert. His combined Immortal Slaying and Immortal Execution attacks overwhelm Bibi Dong, the assisting Titled Douluo, and the Rakshasa God’s manifestation. Bibi Dong survives because the Rakshasa God absorbs most of the attack 60 61.

Still refusing to abandon her claim to the Soul Beasts, she faces Bear Monarch and suffers another severe injury. Qian Daoliu intervenes to seek mercy, while Rakshasa power begins healing her. Chen Ping’an cuts off the divine connection, and she reluctantly accepts defeat 61 62.

Soon afterward, she takes an attack intended for Yu Xiaogang. The resulting explosion destroys the Papal Hall and exhausts her Soul Power and Rakshasa Divine Power. Hu Liena and the others carry her away to recover 62.

Failed Hunt and Loss of Godhood Inheritance

The awakening of ancient Level 100 experts forces Bibi Dong to postpone the Soul Hunting Operation. Before achieving godhood, she cannot contend with these newly active powers 73.

Skywater Academy’s destruction of the Heaven Dou Imperial Family and installation of a puppet government render her original plans ineffective. Concluding that she must become a god to compete, she leads six Titled Douluo into the Star Dou Great Forest to hunt the Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape 77.

There, she finds Hu Liena safe and considerably stronger. She promises to take her disciple out after the hunt, but Di Tian intervenes before she can kill the two Soul Beasts. He easily defeats her and kills four of her accompanying Titled Douluo, leaving Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo alive 77 78.

Acting on the Rakshasa God’s warning, Bibi Dong attempts to flee, only to encounter Chen Ping’an, Bo Saixi, and the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King. Witnessing Chen Ping’an’s four Martial Souls and thirty-six Soul Rings—including eighteen million-year rings—completely shatters her Dao heart 78 79.

The Rakshasa God abandons her inheritance. After she collapses, Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo confirm that her life is not in danger and carry her away with Chen Ping’an’s permission. The Rakshasa God later selects Yu Xiaogang as a replacement inheritor 79 80.
