• Yvraine brought the Ynnari to Gamma World, warned Cisrain of the Necrons, and offered a Webway Key fragment in exchange for help retrieving a relic from Commorragh.
• Gamma World and the Ynnari attacked Commorragh, where Slaanesh daemons, Harlequins, and rival Dark Eldar factions turned the struggle into a citywide battle.
• Vashtorr learned that Gamma World held the final key fragment, while Szarekh investigated Gamma World's soul-restoration technology and saw a Necrontyr revived through the Megastructure Synapse Condensers.
• Cisrain and Szarekh secretly agreed to target Vashtorr, and Cisrain ordered Horus resurrected to lead Gamma World's campaign against him.
• Gamma World's researchers restored Horus, bound his soul to the Emperor, and equipped him with the Emperor's Sword before sending him to seize Wyrmwood and confront Vashtorr.

Horus returned and confronted Abaddon as Gamma World attacked Vashtorr for the Webway Key, drawing the Chaos Gods into battle. With the gods distracted, the Emperor sent Guilliman, Lion El'Jonson, and other Primarchs to strike their domains, where Sanguinius reappeared to fight Slaanesh's forces.

• Helros ordered an investigation after hearing that Horus had returned, while Seraph learned how badly the Imperium was suffering across its scattered fronts.
• Renster discovered that the Fuhun had been sabotaged, and the trapped Black Legion fleet faced enemy warships as Horus’s Expeditionary Force fought on Kadiwen.
• Abaddon confronted Horus on the battlefield, accusing him of betraying the Sons of Horus, while Modasfern’s Emperor’s Children arrived and declared loyalty to the Emperor.
• Vashtorr attacked the Black Legion and revealed that Horus had returned, then trapped and transformed Black Marauders as Renster’s forces tried to escape and warn Abaddon.
• Gamma World’s fleet besieged Wyrmwood with Blackstone Pylons, while Horus gathered the Black Reavers and led attacks against Vashtorr’s forces and defenses.
• The Four Chaos Gods entered the battle over Vashtorr and Cisrain fought them, while Abaddon and the Black Legion were drawn into the conflict.

Gamma World defeated the Aeldari invasion while the Emperor reconnected with the Imperium and Magnus escaped Tzeentch’s labyrinth. As Gamma World prepared to evacuate humanity’s souls from the galaxy, Cisrain led an expedition into the deepest Webway in search of the Eternal Weapon.

• Magnus recovered a soul fragment and escaped the Crystal Labyrinth with Lorgar’s offer accepted, while the Emperor rose and Tzeentch searched for a new plan.
• Gamma World repelled the Aeldari invasion, destroyed Biel-Tan, and drove Craftworld Altis into retreat as Yvraine chose to pursue the Crone Swords.
• Horus killed Abaddon and reclaimed the Centaurus Ring, while Imperial forces withdrew from their battles and prepared for the wars ahead.
• Szarekh studied Gamma World’s Synapse Condenser data and concluded that it could reduce the variables affecting reality, though he could not identify the cause.
• Malcador used Cawl’s psychic amplifier to reconnect the Imperium, and the Emperor urged Roboute Guilliman to lead the survivors in rebuilding.
• Cisrain’s council reported that the Ark was nearly complete and that Gamma World planned to gather humanity’s souls and carry them beyond the Milky Way.
