Looking at the spot before her, clean once again, Rita's wine-red eyes held a faint, indifferent smile. The only thing those bugs had going for them was self-destruction, but in Rita's hands... they could not even manage that.
"The battlefield has been cleared. Let's return to Lady Durandal!"
Though they were both herself, the habits of their bodies were still different, and she was inevitably affected by them.
Rita was somewhat mischievous beneath the surface and enjoyed teasing Durandal. She pursued perfection in cooking and treated everyone politely. Durandal, on the other hand, placed great importance on order, was extremely fond of cleanliness, and had a straightforward personality—she said whatever was on her mind...
Their habits were different. Although they were now both her, the differing personalities of their bodies caused them to behave differently.
Lightly patting away dust that was not there, Rita recalled her stand-in and turned to return to Durandal's side.

When the wind and dust dispersed, a beautiful knight's lance stood embedded straight through the head of a monster... several times larger than the insect-like creatures from before.
This time, though, the monster showed no sign of exploding.
