Keqing saw Makomo staring at the hairpin in her hand. Makomo's strange look made her thoughts obvious, and Keqing immediately guessed what she was thinking without getting angry.
"Do you think it looks very old and isn't in very good condition?"
"Yes."
Makomo nodded. Over the past two days, through her interactions with Keqing, she had noticed that although Keqing had never deliberately flaunted her wealth, everything about her suggested she had no shortage of money.
She couldn't understand why Keqing still wore such an old hairpin.
"It may be old, but that weathered appearance is precisely what gives it its greatest charm."
There was a hint of pride in Keqing's tone, as though she were proud of her hairpin. As she answered Makomo... she infused the hairpin with Electro energy.
The instant it was infused with Electro energy, the hairpin transformed into an incomparably sharp little blade!
Then she directly threw the Electro-infused hairpin toward the creek. It landed right where she had thrown the dry rations earlier. Although Keqing did not intend to eat them, the fish in the creek had been drawn over and gathered around them.
They had never expected a lightning-infused hairpin to fall from above.
The hairpin landed among the rations. Though it did not strike any fish directly, the Electro energy it carried still stunned several unlucky fish.
What Makomo saw next was several palm-sized fish floating motionlessly on the surface after Keqing casually tossed out her hairpin.
"See? Now we have food, don't we?"
Keqing pointed at the fish stunned on the surface...
"...You can use it like that too?!"
Makomo stared at the river in amazement. Fish was indeed far better than those dry rations.
Keqing got up and walked to the creek, retrieving both her hairpin and the stunned fish.
