Although Hades's methods were incredibly dangerous—far more terrifying than Anubis's—they were still unlikely to achieve anything against Raiden Mei, the Sword Saint.

Raiden Mei split herself once more, having some Shadow Clones defend against the approaching monsters while the rest, along with her original body, dealt with Hades.

After she had smashed him around to her satisfaction, she threw a single punch that sent Anubis hurtling into the arena's boundary wall, collapsing a sizeable portion of it.
In anyone's eyes, a blow like that should have left Anubis crippled even if he had not died. Even some of the gods of Ancient Egypt thought so.
But in the very next second, Anubis, whose body had been smashed beyond recognition, actually climbed back to his feet... as though nothing had happened. He continued walking toward Carole, the severe injuries covering his body seeming not to exist at all.
