Outside the arena, Brunhilde watched as Carole easily held back the Yomi Yamata no Orochi, looking especially pleased.
Although she had guessed that pairing Carole with her third sister would produce astonishing results, without actual proof, she had still felt somewhat uneasy.
Now, though, Carole had demonstrated truly outstanding strength. With power capable of matching a demonic monster like that, what did Carole have left to fear?
After obtaining the divine artifact's power, Carole instantly became incomparably terrifying. She was a full-blown rampaging loli.
Faced with the enormous Yamata no Orochi, Carole did not bother dodging at all. Instead, she fought it head-on, matching strength against strength.
As the berserk Yamata no Orochi lunged at her with several gigantic heads, Carole simply leaped up and threw an upward punch.

Carole knocked one of Yamata no Orochi's venomous fangs clean off, leaving that head with a mouth full of blood.
With one head injured, the other heads of Yamata no Orochi showed no intention of stopping. They continued attacking her madly. Because one of them had been injured, the others became even more frenzied.
Carole faced several of Yamata no Orochi's heads alone without the slightest worry... leaving one enormous wound after another across its body.
But... while Yamata no Orochi accumulated more and more wounds, its regeneration was also incredibly fast. Even if one of its heads was blown apart, it would grow back before long.
If all of its heads could not be destroyed at once, killing it would be difficult.
After Carole and Yamata no Orochi had fought for who knew how long, even Carole, empowered by a divine artifact, began panting heavily. Yet... the great serpent before her remained the same
