It had to be said that Mashiro's manga sold so well for more than just her character designs. Her work itself was genuinely excellent. At the very least, Griseo liked it a great deal.
The artwork was beautiful, and although the plot was somewhat plain, that warm feeling... made people willing to lose themselves in it completely. They were clearly just everyday scenes, yet they made people smile knowingly.
It brought back that leisurely, relaxing feeling from reading Non Non Biyori long ago.
