It had to be said that the fast-food restaurants were packed with customers today. This capitalist marketing ploy of eating fried chicken at Christmas had undoubtedly been a success.
It had even become a custom.
Fast-food restaurants that usually saw only average foot traffic were overflowing with customers today.
However, Hana Yurikawa skipped past all those famous fast-food chains and entered a small shop instead.
There were quite a few customers here as well, though nowhere near as many as at those fast-food restaurants. Mainly because its reputation and location could not compare to KFC...
But the food tasted even better than at those fast-food places, at least in Hana Yurikawa's opinion.
Since she had made a reservation in advance, Hana Yurikawa quickly collected the four portions of fried chicken she had ordered.
"Try it! It's definitely way better than KFC."
After finding a seat, Hana Yurikawa held her cola and fried chicken and could not resist digging in first. To Hana Yurikawa, Christmas was a holiday when she could eat to her heart's content.
Because everyone else was eating too.
Griseo held a small piece of fried chicken in both hands and took a bite. It really did taste good. Crispy on the outside and tender within, just right...
But Griseo clearly could not finish an entire piece. She did not throw away the remaining half, instead giving it to Hana.
Hana did not mind at all. One piece of fried chicken was nowhere near enough for an enormous eater like her.
As Griseo drank her cola, Miko Yotsuya noticed crumbs of fried chicken skin stuck to Griseo's chubby little face. She looked like a tiny kitten, utterly adorable.
