As she looked at those fish-man-like monsters, the term flashed through Kiana's mind. In truth, she had known nothing about them before this. She had only just learned of them in the town.

They were an ocean-dwelling humanoid race with fish-like traits and nearly eternal lifespans. As a people, they revered their leader, Father Dagon, and Mother Hydra. While serving them, they also worshipped the great Cthulhu.
"Why are there so many of them?"
At the point where sea met sky, dense masses of monsters were crawling out of the ocean and moving toward her. Their sheer concentration was enough to scare anyone with trypophobia to death.
Even Kiana felt her scalp prickle.
Unlike those Zombies and Honkai Beasts, these creatures gave off strange gasping breaths and inexplicably terrifying whispers as they approached.
Those were definitely not sounds a human could make. They were evil contamination.
Kiana did not dare act rashly. Although these monsters did not look particularly strong, she was worried about whatever stood behind them—such as their gods.
