"What a desolate underwater city..."
Looking at everything before her, Kiana could not help but sigh.
From the outside and the entrance, it had clearly been an enormous underwater metropolis, yet its interior was so barren. It looked as though it had been abandoned for a very long time.
There had been no trace of living creatures here for a long time.
"No! If there are no living creatures, then... where did those Deep Ones come from?"
Kiana suddenly realized something was wrong. Those fish-man-like monsters, the Deep Ones, were obviously creatures of the deep sea. This city had most likely been built by them.
So many Deep Ones had appeared when they attacked her earlier. How could none of them be living here?
This was clearly abnormal!
Yet Kiana could not make sense of it. She simply continued exploring deeper inside.
Soon after, she discovered many monster statues.
Most of them were statues of Deep Ones. They looked incredibly lifelike, yet without exception, they were all worshipping something, motionless.
Kiana approached one of the Deep One statues and examined it carefully... It was so realistic. Yet it truly did not look like a living creature.
It was simply a statue...
"But what are all these statues doing?" She noticed the Deep One statues ahead, arranged in layer upon layer of circles, numbering no fewer than ten thousand.
Making her way step by step through the sea of statues, Kiana entered the deeper structures. There... she saw many sunken ships. There were also human skeletons.
But even more eye-catching were the mountain-like piles of... gold, silver, and treasures.
"My god, so much underwater treasure! Did I just strike it rich?"
