Before long, they encountered those disgusting Shoggoths elsewhere. Kiana was unwilling to attack them herself and only fired at them with her gun at most, but the results were painfully underwhelming.
These Shoggoths possessed powerful regenerative abilities.
In the end, they still had to rely on the Herrscher of Flamescion's flames to wipe them out.
Following behind the Herrscher of Flamescion, Kiana felt rather fortunate. Fortunate that when she had entered this underwater city before, she had not encountered many of these disgusting monsters.
Instead, she had encountered Deep Ones...
Deep Ones were disgusting too, but they were nowhere near as horrifying as these Shoggoths. They were practically gigantic amoebas made of tar, their surfaces covered in countless glowing eyes.
Just thinking about being wrapped up by such creatures made her sick.
However, Kiana had originally thought it would be like what she had encountered before: the Elder Things being resurrected from statues, followed by the servants they controlled.
Yet these creatures were even scarier than the Elder Things.
She would rather face the Elder Things than these Shoggoths.
