The Unexpected Person

Bronya hesitated as she looked at the room ahead... She had Project Bunny 19C protect herself and Seele, erected a barrier, and walked straight in.

"Ah! What a terrifying spider!"

The moment they entered, Seele jumped in fright and clutched Bronya's arm in fear.

In the web-filled room ahead, a giant spider occupying a third of the space was crouched there. It was roughly a dozen meters in size... Beneath it was a large cluster of what appeared to be newly hatched spiderlings.

The giant spider had clearly noticed the two uninvited guests.

"Don't be afraid, Seele. Bronya is here!"

After comforting Seele, Bronya produced a high-explosive grenade in her hand. But the giant spider was faster, shooting a venom-laced web at the two of them.

Just as the web was about to entangle them, Project Bunny 19C raised the Key of Truth and fired a blast at it.

"Boom!"

The next moment... the web, the giant spider's body, and even the newborn spiderlings all exploded. Bronya instinctively turned around and shielded Seele in her arms.

The giant spider's venom and chunks of exploded flesh splattered all over the room. Fortunately... the barrier behind Bronya blocked all the toxic mess.

After confirming the giant spider was dead, Bronya took Seele's hand and quickly left. Only then did she check her level. She had finally leveled up and was rapidly approaching the level 80 cap, while Seele had done even better, gaining a little over two levels.
