Background

Erlang True Lord's mother secretly descended to the mortal world and married a mortal. When the Jade Emperor sent heavenly soldiers after her, Erlang—already born with divine powers—protected his family while fighting and fleeing for more than ten years. 101

He later gained the Celestial Venerable's favor, became the Venerable's secretly taught grand-disciple, and mastered a formidable body of arts. After defeating the heavenly soldiers sent against him, he earned rank through a previous war of dynastic change. His parents and younger sister were also granted official posts, while Erlang himself rose into the Celestial Court's favor. 101

During the East Sea conflict, he faced the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. His silver spear shattered after their single exchange, but he withdrew without suffering a decisive disadvantage; the Great Sage's Three-Point Double-Edged Blade was also ruined by the clash. 101
