This was the heart of the Great Black Heaven Domain, one of the Fallen Immortal Realm's twelve supreme domains.
Supreme domains were a terrain unique to the Fallen Immortal Realm. The spiritual energy of the entire great world was neither evenly spread nor gathered in scattered pockets. Most of it converged in the twelve supreme domains, creating blessed lands far beyond those of ordinary great worlds, where spiritual energy and the essence of the Dao were abundant beyond imagination.
An old saying among the cultivators of the Fallen Immortal Realm held that only a sect with a supreme domain could be called an Immortal Order.
Only a supreme domain could reliably give rise to a Supreme!
Losing a supreme domain would not only severely hamper a Supreme's cultivation; it would also create enormous problems for the sect's growth and succession. Unless every generation produced extraordinary talents far above the norm, the sect would fall within two generations at most, losing its crown as an Immortal Order or immortal-like clan.
Supreme domains were that important. They determined a Supreme's cultivation and the future of a race.
Thus, unless faced with certain death, no Supreme would willingly abandon such a blessed land. Once an enemy Supreme established a sect and its formations there, taking it back would be almost impossible.
Even if a wandering Supreme slaughtered countless worlds and caused an Immortal Order no end of trouble, the order would merely laugh it off.
Were they supposed to grieve and sigh over the ants in a few middle and small worlds?
